Love At Last

Danielle's POV

It was getting too hot to stay outside, I was sweating already. The sun beat down on my hot sweaty skin causing me to glisten.

"You're shining angel!" Cameron exclaimed as he grabbed my hand. I smiled softly at him and put my head on his shoulder.

"Why don't we go to the arcade?" I asked Cameron. He agreed I called over Courtney and Taylor and told them we're going there. 

"I'm going to text Brittney! Maybe they'll meet us there!" I exclaimed. Courtney agreed and I quickly pulled out my phone.

*Hey Britt! Meet Cameron, Courtney, Taylor, and I at the arcade! Bring Matt!* I quickly hit the send button, within the minute she finally replied. 

*Okay! We'll be there soon!* I read the message and smiled at it.

"She's coming!" I exclaimed. We decided to get icecream while we waited for Brittney and Matt to come. The icecream started melting as soon as the girl handed it to me. I quickly started to eat it. 

"Cam, you got some right there," I said pointing to his mouth. He laughed. I shoved more icecream on his face. He laughed. I went over to him grab his beautiful face and licked off the icecream. I kissed him softly on the lips.

"Okay, I'm so hating that right now," Courtney said laughing. I looked at her and she starting laughing even harder. I joined in because it was funny. 

"Let's go to the arcade! Brittney's waiting for us!" I exclaimed. I grabbed Cameron's hand and we walked to the arcade. I saw Brittney and Matt waiting for us.

"What took you guys so long?" Matt asked. Courtney and Taylor pointed at Cameron and I. We all started laughing. "Figures," he said through laughter. 

"Hey can I talk to you guys for a second?" Brittney said pulling us over to the side. I glanced over to see what the boys are doing, they're went over to some arcade games to play. 

"What's up?" I asked intrigued that she wants to tell us something private in public.

"What happened with Sara?" She asked I could tell in her voice that she felt some how left out on the situation. She's not missing much.

"Well, she tried to kiss Cameron back when we were in California. She cheated on Aaron with Nash, oh and she also tried to ruin our friendship." I said annoyed. I looked over at Courtney and she looked annoyed too. I honestly don't understand why she'd do this, its not like I gave her a reason to try and ruin my life. 

"Oh my god!" Brittney said, her jaw dropped. Courtney and I both nodded our heads. 

"So, missy how are things with you and Matt?" I asked hitting her shoulder and raising my eyebrows. Courtney and Brittney started cracking up.

"I honestly don't even know what we are. He acts like he's my boyfriend, but he hasn't asked me out yet." she said disappointed. 

"Did he kiss you yet?" I asked intrigued. 

"Not yet," she said sadly. 

"Awe! Cheer up girly! He will soon, I see the way he looks at you." I said trying to cheer her up. He looks at her like she's the only girl in the world. It's so precious! She smiled after I said this and we all walked back to the boys.

"Is everything okay?" Matt asked Britteny. She nodded her head yes. He gazed into her eyes and smiled softly at her. I quickly turned my head because I didn't want them to catch me watching! I saw him pull her over to the side. I turned my head and continued watching Cameron play the game. Ugh he's so dreamy.

Brittney's POV

"What's up?" I asked confused. He looked at the ground, and slowly looked up at me. He started playing with his hands, then he grabbed my hand gently, and held it tightly.

"Brittney, I really like you," he said carressing my hand. I smiled softly at him, then I felt the tears in my eyes start to form.

"I really like you too Matt," I said.

"No Brittney, I really really like you," he said staring into my eyes. Does he mean love?

"Matt, I really really like you too," I said I let out a small laugh. He finally calmed down. I could tell he was nervous. He smiled softly as I noticed him struggling to put his thoughts into words.

"So.. uh.. um.. do you wanna be my gir-" he said but I cut him off. I kissed him. At first he was shocked, he pulled away looked at me for a second.

"Well, that was easier then I thought," he said smiling. He wrapped his arms around my lower back, and I put my arms around the back of his neck. He slowly leaned in to kiss me, I felt his tongue slowly enter my mouth. I felt fireworks, the kind that everyone says they feel when you meet "the one". I feel the tears trickle down my face. After a few minutes of Matt kissing me, we pulled away. He noticed that I was crying.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked brushing the tears off of my face with his thumb. His touch made my knees weak, my heart beat a little faster, and my skin shiver. 

"Nothing they're happy tears," I said smiling. He hugged me and we went back over to the group. 

Danielle's POV

I look over at Brittney and Matt as they walk back to hang out with us. I noticed that both of their lips are red. Well, looks like Brittney finally got her kiss. After a while we all started getting really tired. The sun was out of sight, as the darkness of the night appeared in the sky. The only light outside was from the bright shining stars and the beautiful big moon. The crispy summer breeze went right through my clothes, sending shivers through my body. I grabbed on to Cameron's hand as we quickly walked back to his car to go home.
