Chapter 11

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Erik asked. "Yes Erik, I've been pregnant and alone once I can do it again." I replied smiling at him. "Alright babe." He replied before we all went to the van. "Mommy be careful." Landon said hugging me and kissing my cheek. "I will Lan, you be good." I replied setting him down. "I will." He replied before holding onto my leg. "Be safe babe." Erik said before kissing me. "You too, be safe." I replied. "Don't let Miles get you." I called before Erik buckled Landon in and then he left and I went in the house. After about an hour of me laying on the couch watching TV there was a knock on the door so I slowly got up to see who it was.

"Hey Zoe." Kennedy said walking in with Blair and Andrea behind her. "What's going on?" I asked. "We wanted to come here and hang out a bit." Blair said. "When are you guys going down?" I asked. "Tomorrow morning." Kennedy said. "Make sure Landon is alright please, I worry about him." I said. "Of course we will." Andrea said. We talked and watched TV until they went home leaving me to myself again. "Hey Erik." I said answering the call. "See Landon here's mommy."  He said giving Landon the phone. "What's wrong baby?" I asked Lan. "You not here." He replied. "Do you miss me?" I asked. "Ya." He replied. "Well just tell daddy when you miss me and I'll be here." I told him.

"Ok how Te-a Ro?" He asked. "They are good how are you?" I asked. "I good but miss you." He replied. "I miss you too Lan." I replied. "I go bed." He said. "Ok I love you Landon." I said. "I love you." He replied before hanging up. An hour later Erik called me again to talk to me. "Are you going to win this weekend?" I asked. "Of course." He replied. "Good, go get that first cup win." I said smiling. "I will try for everyone." He replied. We talked about random things until he decided to go to bed which I also went to bed. That Saturday I turned on the race and they showed pre race interviews and they were talking to Erik and Landon. "You have Landon with you but no one's seen Zoey around how come?" She asked.

"As everyone knows Zoey is pregnant, she's eight months pregnant and I talked to the doctor and she said that Zoey shouldn't be traveling as much as I do so she can relax because of the fact that we are adding twins to our family." Erik replied. "Yes you two are adding twins to your family, how do you feel getting closer to the due date?" She asked. "

I'm feeling excited because I missed out on a lot with Landon, which wasn't anyone's fault, but I'm also a little afraid because I'm traveling a lot and I don't want to leave Zoey with the twins as much as I have to leave to travel for the Cup circuit." He said. "You're so sweet Erik." She said. "Yeah well it's hard not to with Zoey in my life." He replied and it made me blush.

"So Landon is daddy going to win?" She asked Lan. "Yeah daddy win torrow too." He said. "Today and tomorrow." Erik quickly said. "Well good luck Erik." She said before she went to find another person to interview. In the last little bit of laps Erik blew an engine or something so he was out of the race. They interviewed him then showed him taking his phone and calling someone before I got a call which I knew was from Erik. "Hey baby." I said. "Hey babe are you watching the race?" He asked. "Of course, thank you for the interview before the race." I said. "Anytime, here's Lan." He said before handing the phone to Landon.

"Mommy." I heard Landon say. "Hey baby." I replied. "Daddy race." He said. "He didn't finish." I told him. "No, but torrow." He said. "He's going to finish tomorrow?" I asked. "Win." He replied. "Have you seen Andrea?" I asked. "Yeah Ande, Bair and Knndy." He said. "Andrea Blair and Kennedy?" I asked him. "Yeah." He replied. After talking to Landon and Erik for a little bit longer we hung up and I changed to something else after the race was over and watched random shows until I went to bed. I woke up the next morning realizing that the anniversary of Erik's dad passing away is on Wednesday. "Hey Carol, how do me and Landon get Erik through Wednesday?" I asked when she picked up.

"Just let him do whatever but nothing bad." She said. "Alright thank you, how are you feeling?" I asked. "As good as I can be, it's been a year." She said. "A year since you lost one family member and gained another." I said. "Well gained one and met the other." She replied. "So you pretty much gained two." I said. "Yeah." She replied. "Well I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing, thank you again." I said. "Anything for my family." She replied before we hung up. "Zoey, we missed you." Blair said walking into the house. "Hey everyone." I said watching my moms side of the family come into the apartment with Joe, Andrea, JH and the girls. "What's going on?" I asked everyone who went into rooms.

"Erik called us, told us to move everything we can, so mostly everything." Joe told me. "Alright go ahead." I replied. The guys all got to work while all the kids played and I talked to my family who came to keep me company. "How are you feeling?" Andrea asked. "Getting more tired than with Landon that's for sure." I replied. "Yeah I remember the same thing." Wendy said. "I miss them." I said talking about Erik and Landon.
