Chapter 19

"Will you be ok?" Erik asked that night. "We will all be fine, I've been alone with Landon I can do it with three we will see you next week." I told him. "Are you sure?" He asked. "I'll be fine baby, I swear I just want some time with my babies alone." I replied. "That's fine, I understand that completely." He said hugging me. "Thank you Erik." I then said kissing him. "Anything for my family." He replied. The next day Erik left leaving me with Landon and the twins. "Ok Landon now that daddy's gone until next week, you have to help me with the twins, you can be the man of the house until daddy comes back." I told Lan when we got home. "Ok mommy." He replied.

"Now that I have the twins carriers you have to walk in front of me, but I can carry you when I have the stroller." I told him when I was unloading everyone out of the van. "Ok mommy." He replied walking in front of me. "Mommy can we play?" Landon asked. "Yeah just hold on then I'll come play with you." I said bringing the bassinets into the living room then we played cars unless I needed to stop. "Landon do you want to go to the park?" I asked. "Yeah park." He replied. "Ok come on." I said getting the twins ready to go and helping Landon with his shoes. "Walk?" He asked. "We can walk but I need the stroller." I told him. "Come on mommy." He said and we went back into the house and got the stroller then we walked to the park.

"Landon stay where I can see you." I told him sitting on the grass close to the playground after taking the carriers out of the stroller. "Ok mommy." He said before sitting in the sand by me and playing. "Lan go run around." I told him. "No play sand." He replied. "If you wanted to play in sand I could have made sand at home." I told him. "Sand at home?" He asked. "Yes sand at home." I replied. "Tomorrow sand at home today park." He said before running away to play. "How old are your kids?" One of the moms asked walking up to me. "Landon is two and the twins here are a week old." I told her. "And how old are you?" She asked.

"Twenty one, I was a partier when I was a teenager and Landon was the result of a one night stand then last year I got together with Landon's father and now we have the twins." I told her. "Well that's a twist." She said. "Yeah, so who's your children or child?" I asked. "Ansley is almost five she's in school and Cooper is almost two." She replied. "My name is Zoey Harris." I said looking at her. "Harmony Walker." She said and we shook hands. "Maybe we can get our sons together to play, they can come to my house between Monday and Wednesday." I said. "Yeah that can work but why only three days?" She asked. "My fiancé is a NASCAR driver." I told her. "Oh I see, how old is he?" She asked. "Also twenty one." I replied.

"Your twins look so much like you." She then said. "Thank you, Landon looked like their dad when he was born." I told her. "They are so cute, I remember Ansley and Cooper at their age." She said. "Yeah, I missed Landon this small." I replied. "I better get going to get my daughter from school." She said. "Alright." I replied before we gave each other our numbers then she left with her son. "Mommy I made a friend." Landon said walking up to me. "What's your friend's name?" I asked him as he sat on my lap. "Cooper, he said you were talking to his mommy." He told me. "Do you want to have playdates with him?" I asked him. "Yeah, play." He replied. "Why don't you go make some more friends." I replied.

"No I go home." He said. "Go play for five more minutes so mommy can get Teanna and Rosealind in the stroller." I said. "Ok mommy." He replied before going to play so I could get the twins in the stroller. When I stood up Landon came running to me and we went home. "I'm hungry." Landon said when I got the twins settled. "Let's get dinner what do you want?" I asked. "Fries cheese." He told me. "Grilled cheese and fries?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied so I made dinner and we ate then I got him ready for bed. "Hey Erik." I answered his call. "Hey Zo, is Lan still up?" He asked. "Oh geez, I'm your fiancée and you only care about our son thanks Erik." I said walking into Landon's room.

"Look Landon daddy." I said giving him the phone. "Daddy see Te-a and Ro." Landon said walking into the main bedroom. "Te-a, Ro, me and mommy went to park." Lan told him. "Oh really?" Erik asked. "Yeah, I made a friend named Cooper." Landon said. "Did mommy meet his mommy?" Erik asked. "Yeah they were talking and looking at the twins." Landon said. He then sat on the bed and Landon talked to Erik while I spent time with the twins. "I think it's time for Landon to go to bed." I said after a while of them talking. "Yeah I think mommy is right." Erik replied before I hung up the phone and put Landon to bed. "Hey listen Zo, I love you so so much, but I knew Landon had to go to bed soon I think I tried you when you guys were at the park." He said when I called him again.

"It would be nice to be asked if I was ok or not with all three of them." I replied. "I know Zo, I'm really really sorry I didn't ask you how you were first." He replied. "I'm going to bed I'll talk to you tomorrow." I said. "Alright have a good night babe, I wish I could snuggle with you I'll be back Sunday late, and I can help with our little ones." He said. "I love you Erik." I said. "I love you Zo." He replied before we hung up and I went to bed before having to wake up.
