The next day we went to the track and Erik went to where he needed to go and before pre race stuff we met back up at his pit spot. I gave Erik Teanna and picked up Landon so he wasn't missing anything and Carol had Rose, which I'm thankful that Carol and Lindsey came because they could help with the babies that and seeing them and having Erik and the little ones see them is why I love when they come to the track. Carol and Lindsay said their lucks to Erik and he kissed Rose's cheek then they went to the put box. "Luck daddy." Landon said kissing Erik's cheek. "Thanks Lan." Erik replied before I let him down and he went to pit wall and the crew helped him up to the pit box. Erik kissed Anna's forehead then passed her to me.
"Good luck Erik." I said hugging him the best I could with Anna. "Thanks." He replied before kissing me. "This is you race." I said before bringing Anna to the pit box while Erik got ready to race. "Mommy." Landon said when I got up top and sat he got in my lap and hugged me. "Darling." I said wrapping an arm around him. "I got Anna." Lindsay said as it was apparent Landon wanted to cuddle during the race. "Do you want to cuddle?" I asked Landon. "Yeah." He replied so I gave Lindsay Anna and cuddled with Landon while we watched Erik, I decided to have their milk in bottles today just in case which came in handy today. "Daddy's going to end up third." I told Landon. "Lan fell asleep a while ago." Carol told me. "Oh boy." I replied. We gathered everything and we went down to meet Erik.
"I'll take Landon." Erik said when he was done with Chris. "Thanks." I said giving him the sleeping boy. "Why don't we go celebrate." I suggested. "Are you sure?" Lindsay asked. "We can wake Landon up when we get there, the twins are asleep." I said. "Whatever mama wants to do." Erik said putting his arm that he wasn't using to hold Landon over my shoulder Carol and Lindsay put the twins in their carriers and we all left to eat. "Lan, sweetheart wake up." I said unbuckling Landon from his car seat. "Mommy?" He asked. "Yeah little monkey." I replied picking him up. "Race over?" He asked. "Yeah the race is over." I replied. "How daddy do?" He asked. "He ended up in third place two places away from first." I told him. "Oooo daddy good." He said resting his head on my shoulder.
"Yeah he is, he's good at racing, and being an amazing daddy, and fixing things." I said. "And playing cars." Landon added. "Yeah he's good at playing with you and the twins." I agreed. "I think mommy's an amazing parent to you and your sisters, and she's good at taking care of me, and playing with you three and being my cheerleader at races." Erik said kissing my cheek. "Daddy has Te-a." Landon noticed. "He does." I replied as we walked into the restaurant. "How many?" The person asked. "Seven, we need a booster seat and have two infants." Lindsay said. "Mommy I go bed." Landon said in the middle of dinner then wanted on my lap and when I got him out of the booster seat and on my lap he rested his head against me and fell asleep.
"It's the twins, they are affecting his sleep." I said when Carol gave me a questioning look. "Our poor sweet son." Erik said looking at us. "What if when we got home he goes to great aunt Franny's for a couple of days?" I asked Erik. "Yeah sure, he needs some sleep and the twins won't help." Erik replied. "No, I just wish he was a couple years older." I said as I began to eat again. "A box for the little one?" Our waiter asked us. "Yes, he's asleep." Erik replied to the waiter. "Let me take him." Erik said getting out of his seat. I gave him Landon and started to eat again. When we were all done we gathered the leftovers and went back to Erik's childhood home. Erik took Landon to his room and I put the twins to bed after feeding them and we met back on our bed.
"Hi." I said when he was just staring at me. "Hi." He replied smiling making me smile. "When's the wedding?" I asked him. "I have no clue, what works best for your family?" He asked. "Home." I replied. "Everyone on my list will be home besides Lindsay and mom but they can come travel for a few days." He replied. "What about your teammate and boss and everyone working at a shop?" I asked. "After work, I want to invite Kaz and Nina." He then said. "Ok what do we do?" I asked. "I already took care of everything to do with guest." He told me. "You really are the best." I said. "You are the best too." He replied. "So Andrea and the twins Blair and Kennedy are going dress shopping when we get back, I already have my dresses but not the twins and we have to pick up the girls dresses." I told him.
"Wait, when did you get your dresses and why more than one?" He asked. "A while ago, Andrea took me and the kids to get a dress and we got me a dress for the reception, I'm surprised Landon never told you." I said. "Yeah me too." He agreed. "He is in love with the dress just to let you know." I told him. "If he loves I will too." He said. "You need to go and get your suit and Landon's suit, I told Daniel and Brian they need to get their suits, and Daniel also has Gabriel's suit." I said. "Ok, and what ties do you want?" He asked. "Orange, we are having a fall theme." I replied. "Is Andrea helping?" He asked. "Yeah, Andrea and Franny have everything under control, I gave them a list of everything I wanted and they said they would take care of it, they get what two babies and a two year old can do, well kind of." I told him.
"Good idea, I was thinking since we have babies so young, why don't we hire a nanny for the night just for our twins." Erik suggested. "That's an amazing idea." I said. "Yeah, I was thinking if they want to sleep they need a quiet place and it's their parents wedding." He said. "But I was thinking I want them and Landon to dance with us, like our first dance and then the little ones come on the dance floor and we dance with them, kind of like father daughter mother son when they are little and then have the dance at their weddings." I said. "Oh, that's a great idea, we can each dance with them, take turns dancing with Landon and the twins." He replied. "Exactly." I said.
