"Zo's really tired too apparently." I said before bringing Zo to the bedroom and laying her under the covers. I went back downstairs and sat on the couch. "How's fatherhood?" Mom asked me when she noticed I sat down. "It's good, but Zo and I still have problems and she's not going to leave the kids ever." I replied. "And you don't know what to do." She said. "No I don't, do you have any advice?" I asked. "Your dad and I never had these problems I'm sorry Erik." She replied. "I don't know what to do, I don't want to break the family up and communication is important." I replied. "Yeah it is, come here." Mom said pulling me into a hug. "I want to know how to keep my family together." I said. "Penny may know how." She told me pulling away from me.

"I'll be back." I replied before going to see Penny. "Erik, I haven't seen you for so long." She said hugging me. "I know, since before I moved to North Carolina." I replied. "So what's going on?" She asked. "I'm getting married to Joe Nemechek's niece." I told her. "Oh congratulations, your mom must be happy." She replied. "Yeah she is, we also have a two year old." I replied. "Landon Jones, I watch you on race days and she just had twins the last time you were home." She replied. "Yeah Zoey did, my beautiful daughters Teanna and Rosealind." I said. "Your family is so cute." She replied. "So I came here because I'm not sure how to communicate with Zoey." I told her. "Oh yeah that's big Erik." She said.

"What do I do?" I asked her. "Well Diplomacy is really important." She told me. "Ok." I replied. "Explain what is bothering you, but sometimes discretion is ok, have an attitude of gratitude, use a safe word if things get heated, and express your needs and wants clearly." She told me as she was writing stuff down. "Alright I can do that." I replied. "And lastly show Zoey how much you love her." She said. "Thank you Penny." I said hugging her. "Anything for Carol's family." She replied before I left for my mom's house. "Hey Erik where were you?" Zoey asked when I walked in. "I went to Penny's house she's a friend of my mom." I told her.

"What did you talk to her about?" She asked. "How we can communicate better." I replied. "What are her tips?" She asked. "Where is everyone else?" I questioned before answering her. "Carol and Lindsey took the babies out for a while." She replied leading me to the couch. "Diplomacy is really important, explain what is bothering you, but sometimes discretion is ok, have an attitude of gratitude, use a safe word if things get heated, and express your needs and wants clearly and lastly show how much I love you." I said pulling her close and snuggling with her. "We're back." Mom said walking in the door with Landon a little while later. "Are the twins hungry?" Zoey asked my mom. "I don't think so they aren't really fussy." Mom replied. "Ok." She said as my mom moved the table then Lindsey set the twins in front of us and Landon joined us on the couch.

The girls started to fuss a little while later so I took them to Erik's room and fed them before going back to the living room and putting them on their tummy time mats. "Do they love tummy time?" Erik asked watching them. "Yeah, they never want me to pick them up when I think they've had enough." I replied pulling their mats so I could sit against the couch in between Erik's legs. Erik started playing with my hair as we watched the twins and Landon sat in between my legs playing with his cars. Carol came walking into the room looked at us then took her phone out and took a picture of us then left. Erik joined us on the floor behind me and wrapped his arms around me a couple minutes later while Landon laid his head on me and I could tell he was falling asleep.

"Someone needs to bring the twins up to their bassinets." I told Erik. "We'll do it." Carol said as her and Lindsay came walking into the living room. "I was thinking Erik could do it Carol." I replied. "Non sense, I want to spend as much time with my grand babies as I can." She replied. "If you want to." I replied as Landon't breathing became even and I knew he was sleeping so I brought Landon to his room and put him in his bed then went to cuddle with Erik in bed. "You're the best thing that's happened to me." Erik told me while we were laying in bed. "You and the kids are the best things that have happened to me." I replied. "I can't wait for October." Erik said kissing the side of my head. "Me neither, but we still have a lot of things to do before our date gets closer." I replied.

"You know we should be doing just this, laying cuddled together talking about the wedding, not with babies, Landon sure but the twins came too soon." I told Erik. "I know, we are young let's just hope none of the kids make this mistake, but what would we do if Landon got a girl pregnant or one of the twins became pregnant as a teenager?" Erik asked me. "The only thing we can do, be supportive, help them we're their parents they will need our help, trust me as a teenager you need all the help you can get plus the baby will be our grandchild or grandchildren." I told him. "We will, we will help, give them support love them and help teach them how to be great parents." He said making me smile.

"But it would be ok if at first we were mad or disappointed, we want the best for them and a baby as a teenager is not the best thing, I just hope I see more from them, and that they learn from my well our mistakes." I said. "Yeah, hey I've been talking to this guy named Kaz Blackwood, he wants to be a driver, you remember how Willy B started in Iracing, well Kaz started too and he's a bit older than us." He said. "Ok and?" I asked. "When we get home I want you to meet him and his daughter Nina." He told me. "How old is Nina?" I asked him. "Two, she's the same age as Landon." He replied. How old is Kaz?" I asked. "Twenty three." He replied. "Ok." I said.
