Chapter 22

I went to uncle Joe's house and walked in. "Zoe, where are the twins?" Andrea asked. "Erik, did you know he bought a puppy while I was gone?" I asked. "No didn't you tell him no dogs?" She asked. "Yeah, I told him we had newborns and no time for a dog." I replied. "What does Landon think?" She asked. "He wanted a puppy in fact the two year old made a big decision that the twenty one year old should have." I replied. "I got home and the first thing to greet me was Oscar, I went to pack a bag, there's no clothes in it but he doesn't know that and he told me he would take care of the puppy but I kept on saying that we have newborn twins then the last thing to happen was I yelled 'we have newborn twins' and I made the twins start to cry, Erik backed away from me and Landon hid behind Erik." I said.

"Oh darling, I'm sorry." She said hugging me. "It's ok, I just I've been thinking about things." I said. "About what?" She asked. "Erik and me, our relationship." I replied. "What do you think about?" She asked. "Was it really a good idea, like I'm not sure if I'm in it for me and love or just to keep my family together." I said. "Just follow your heart dear, but also remember, you're engaged to that boy and you two have three children." She said before I hugged her and went home. "Zo you're home." Erik said getting off the couch. "Come on." I said taking his hand and going to the bedroom.

"What was that?" He asked when we were laying in bed. "I just had to be sure of things." I replied. "Are you sure about things?" He asked. "Of course, I love you and I love our little ones." I told him kissing him. "Awe Zo." He said hugging me as best as he could. "Thank you for our family." I said before taking a nap. "Zo come on we have to go." Erik said shaking me awake. "Is everyone ready?" I asked. "Yeah, just finished getting Landon ready." Erik replied. "Thank you so much for everything." I said getting up and getting ready to travel. "Off to Daytona again." Erik said when we got to the airport. "Mommy come on." Landon said pulling on my pant leg. "I'm coming Lan." I replied before scooping him up with one arm as I had Teanna's carrier in the other.

"Hey Zo we missed you last weekend." Chris said hugging me. "I missed seeing you guys and being at the track but motherhood calls." I replied putting Landon in a seat. I made sure we were buckled in before take off then we were off back to Daytona. "Can we go to the beach?" I asked when we were in the RV. "The twins first trip to the beach, maybe." He replied. Erik took Landon to practices while I walked around with the twins ending up at Erik's garage. "Te-a, Ro." Landon said when he noticed us. "Yeah Lan, we're here now." I said picking him up so he could see his sisters. "Te-a Ro this is the garage." He told them. "Do you want to show them around?" I asked him. "Yeah show." He replied smiling at me.

"Come on then we can go." I said before Erik came over to us. "Hey Zo." He said kissing me. "Landon wants to go show the twins around the track." I told Erik. "Yeah." Landon piped in. "Alright, you can do that, be back soon then we can go back to the RV." Erik said. "Will do." I replied before picking up Landon and we went for a walk so he could tell the twins about the track. We got back to Erik's garage and we all went back to the RV putting the twins to sleep. "Ok Landon what do you want to do?" I asked him. "Play cars." He replied handing me a car. "You like cars don't you?" I asked him. "Yeah." He replied. "And you say you are going to be a race car driver like daddy." I said. "Yeah just like daddy." He replied smiling.

"What's your number going to be?" I asked him. "Uh, i dont know mommy." He told me. "That's ok Landon." I told him. "Ok." He replied hugging me. We ate dinner then Landon stayed up a little bit longer then we put him to bed. "Are you going to bed?" Erik asked me when I went to our room. "I was thinking about it, I'm kind of tired." I replied. "Ok, I'll be there in a bit." He told me before kissing me and I got ready for bed then fell asleep. The next day we all went to watch Erik qualify. Landon and Chris where talking about Erik qualifying while I was sitting with the twins watching everything. "Alright Zoe Erik's starting seventeenth." Chris said. "That's not bad, but also not the top ten." I replied and we got down, Chris helping Landon.

The race started and off everyone went, down pit road and around for pace laps. In the middle of the action Landon said "Atoom mommy." Which was going to be interesting with the twins and the race going on. "Ok Lan you're a big boy right?" I asked. "Yeah big boy." He replied. "Ok well you know big boys can get off of pit box themselves right?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied. "So I am carefully going to get off the pit box with your sisters, then carefully you are going to come down." I told him. "Ok mommy hurry." He said. "Ok baby." I replied before carefully and as quick as I could got down then he did the same and we almost ran to Erik's hauler so he didn't miss the potty. I started potty training Landon in Michigan we bought a training potty for him and one day he just decided to start using it.

"Landon, daddy finished in the top ten." I told him. "Yay daddy." He cheered then we got down. "Top ten Erik." I said giving him Rosealind. "Yeah, it feels good." He told me and I kissed him. "Mommy no." Landon said. "What bud?" I asked picking him up. "Daddy mine." He said hugging Erik. "Can we all share daddy just like we all share me?" I asked him. "No, daddy mine." He said again. "But I love daddy just as much as you and your sisters do." I told him. "Daddy still mine." He replied and we went back to the
RV to pack and go home.
