Chapter 14

"Is everyone ready for today?" Chris asked the crew and Erik all said yes. "Alright let's go out and win today." Chris said and they pushing the car to pit road with me behind them and Erik went to drivers stuff with Chris. "I heard you met Delilah." Chris said walking up to me. "Uh yeah I did." I replied. "Do you think he'd do something stupid?" He asked. "Erik, of course not he has three children and he wouldn't do anything to break up his family." I replied. "Good you know he wouldn't because all he can talk about is you Landon and the twins." He told me. "He's a young adult he should be talking about other things and not children." I said. "Hey, things happen for a reason you two had Landon for a reason." He replied. "We did, to bring us together." I replied smiling when Erik was walking towards us.

"Three of my favourite girls." Erik said hugging me. "Three how many favourite girls do you have?" I asked joking and faking being surprised. "Well theres you three and theres my mom and sister." He replied kissing me. "Yeah and the rest of your family." I said. "The rest of my family as well." He replied. We lined up soon after everything was done and pre race stuff started. "Good luck babe." I said hugging him. "Thanks Zo" he replied then kissed me. "Let's get out first win." I said hanging out with the pit crew. "Zoey's on the ground with the rest of the crew." I heard Chris say most likely to Erik. After a long battle at the end of the race where it really matters Erik ended up P3.

"Erik's in third." I said happily. "It's still not first." Chris replied. "But he's so close to first our first win is around the corner." I said. "You're the best Zoey." Chris said making me smile more. "Zo you see that?" Erik asked after his interview. He jumped over the walk and hugged me. "You got third baby I'm proud, we're all proud and we are always proud." I said. I called JH and we talked to Landon for a while before I went to go find Ryan Blaney. "Hey  congrats." I said hugging him. "Thank you, when are the twins coming?" He asked. "Sometime in the next two weeks." I replied. "Oh my." He said. "Yeah, my thoughts exactly, with Landon it was three times as scary because I was a single parent." I said.

"Now you have Landon and the twins but Erik's around." He said. "Yeah thankfully I'm not a single parent, I keep on asking myself what if we hooked up but I stopped talking to him again, three kids and as a single parent would be crazy, but Erik and I will take turns taking Landon places without the twins." I told him. "Good plan." He replied. "Yeah thankfully." I said before we hugged and I went back to Erik. "Let's go pack we have a long drive." Erik said and that's what we did we packed and then we started the drive.

"My baby." I whispered picking him up carefully when we got to Joe's. "Come on Erik." I then whispered and we went to our new house. "This is going to be so weird." Erik whispered. "Of course, it will be weird but," i said before Landon's voice stopped me. "Mommy daddy?" He asked. "Hey buddy we are going to the new house we have all your things and we are going there now." I told him. "Night mommy daddy." He then said. "Goodnight little man." We replied before he went back to sleep. Erik got the suitcases while I got Landon and put him to bed. "Our house, it still doesn't feel like a home." I said before falling asleep. I woke up the next morning and we washed all our clothes and packed for our trip to Michigan.

"I talked to my mom and she's happy to have us and our newborn twins at my childhood home." Erik said. "Really?" I asked. "Anything for family." He replied. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah, plus I really want to go home home." He replied. "We can go to your home home." I replied. We packed everything and got a hospital bag ready in case something happens on the way. "Landon, come on we are going to go to Michigan and see grandma Jones and aunt Lindsay." I said picking him up. "wins?" He asked. "Twins?" I asked. "Ya." He replied. "What about them?" I asked. "Come." He said. "They will come when they want to come." I told him. "Me?" He asked. "You came when you wanted to." I replied and we got into the van waiting for Erik to get the rest of our things into the back.

We got into Byron Michigan and my water broke after having contractions. "Erik instead of going to our family's home let's take a detour to the hospital." I said. "Are they coming?" He asked. "Yeah, I'll call your family." I replied calling his mom. "Hey Carol, yeah we just got in but we are going to take a detour." I said. "What why?" She asked. "The twins are coming." I replied. "Oh ok wait the twins are coming, we will be there soon." She replied before we hung up. "Mommy ok?" Landon asked. "Yeah little man, mommy's ok, the twins are coming." I said. "Traffic lights make this hard." I told him. "Yeah I can tell already." He replied before we rushed to the hospital. "My fiancé is in labour." Erik said when we got to the hospital.

I got a wheelchair right away and we were rushed into a room. Carol and Lindsay came a few minutes later and Lindsay took Landon so I could have the twins. Twelve hours later the twins decided it was time to make their appearance so we were taken to the delivery room. "Ok Zoey let's start pushing." The doctor said and I took Erik's hand squeezing it every time I pushed.
