Chapter 26

"Camila?"

There it was again, that voice.

The past two years it was all in her head, sometimes by choice. She imagined Lauren saying her name. Imaging she was cuddling Lauren instead of her pillow. And sometimes it was her mind that repeated the voice over and over in her head. Playing with her. She would turn around and be met with everyday people contuining with their every day life, afterwards she was only able to continue her every day life after taking a deep breath. But she always wondered if Lauren could be a part of her every day life.

Now, Camila was sure that she could turn around and see every day people contuining with their every day life and that she wouldn't even care about them. Hell, she wouldn't even notice them. She would turn around and see Lauren, standing there in flesh and blood.

"Hey, you okay?" Lauren voice stops her form drifting further, her eyes land on Lauren's worrieds one, that are boring a hole in eyes, trying to read whats on Camila's mind. Her eyes drifts to the hand thats protectively holding Camila's arm, keeping her in place. Keeping her on the ground.

When she lifts her eyes, a smile is visible on her face, making Laurens muscles relax and the worry in her eyes dissapear. Her body language completely changes, Camila notices.

"Mila, we'll miss the movie."

Of course her little sister had to ruin their conversation, she could feel Lauren look confused at her as the petite version of Camila joined her side.

"Lauren this is Sofia, known as my sister and pain in the ass." Camila introduced earning a slap in the back of her head from an older lady.

The woman then focuses on the nine year old girl, giving her a stern look before handing her her popcorn. "You can't just run away like that, I didn't know where you were going." Afterwards she gives Camila her Pepsi light and nachos.

"And this is my mother."

"They're my pain in the ass." Making both girls gasp and Lauren chuckle. "Nice to meet you, I'm Lauren."

"You work with my daughter?" Sinu, Lauren later learns,  asks making her shake her head. "No ma'am I already know her from Miami."

"Oh are you one of Camila's old friends, im sorry it's all such a long time ago I saw everyone's faces." The woman responses. Her facial expression changes slightly, the memories must be fresh in her mind of Camila's past.

"I'm already gonna take Sofia, okay? I'll see you there." The woman changes the subject. Leaving the two of them alone after saying goodbye to Lauren.

"It was nice to meet you too." She responded, giving her a heart full smile.

"Sorry for that." Camila awkwardly states, giving Lauren a nervous vibe. "It's the first time they visit me here."

"No problem."

"So, which movie are you going?" Lauren asked Camila, hoping to continue with a conversation.

"The emoji movie. I actually wanted to go to Tulip Fever, but since my sister is so obsessed with this movie I couldn't change her mind."

"Ugh I wanted to see that one too, but Alesia insisted on seeing Annabelle."

"Who's Alesia?" She hadn't hear Lauren mention her before.

"Her girlfriend." A petite blonde comes in sight, putting her hand on Lauren's shoulder. "I got you your Pepsi light, babe."

"Oh." Her mouth formed an 'o' shape, processing the new found information. "I didn't know you have a girlfriend."

"Really?" Now her girlfriend was facing her too. Perfect Camila. It didn't help that she also sounded disappointment, or did Lauren just imagine that.

"Well I should be going. We should see Tulip Fever together some time!"

"We should." Lauren smiled in agreement.

"By Lo."

"Bye." Lauren waved back. With that Camila was gone. "Who's that bitch?" Lauren turned around to find her girlfriend looking at her not so amused.

"First of all she's not a bitch, second of all we're missing the movie." Lauren was already walking off but Alesia was quick to catch up.

"You should be happy that your new girlfriend hasn't lost a teeth, I swear how does she has the nerve to ask you out when I'm standing right next to you."

"Don't overreact, it's not a date." Lauren groaned rolling her eyes at the girl. She wished.

"Uhuh and calling you a nickname, I swear she's got some ovaries." Making Lauren look at her with her eyebrows scrunched together.

"Yeah with those tight jeans she definitely didn't have balls, bet you noticed how thight they were."

"Come on stop." Lauren started grabbing the girl by her hand, stopping her in her track. She refused to look at her so Lauren softly pulled her by her chin, making her look at her. "You are my girlfriend, she's just a friend. I only love you, I only kiss you, I only fuck you. Okay??"

Alesia smiled all happy now, connecting their lips for a sensual kiss. Showing to everyone in the room that Lauren wasn't there for the taking.

Definitely showing it to Camila, who turned around with an uneasy feeling in her stomach as Lauren tugged her grilfriend with her after sharing the kiss, a smile on her lips.

But Camila didn't know that smile was there just for the show, Lauren was thinking about her girlfriends hands. She could imagine someone else's hands that would just fit a tad more perfect.

Such a bad chapter, I'm so so sorry..
Btw I couldn't update before because my phone broke down but I have a new one now and I'll post around five chapters in the next two days!
