Walking her way home she found herself passing the dog and it's owner that almost knocked her off her feet again. This time the dog was secure next to the man, who was visibly arguing with a girl. From a few meters distance Camila could already hear the both of them talking very loudly to one another. She couldn't get a clear view of who he was talking to as he was broad enough cover the other human being.
"She should've watched where she walked. Not my fault." The man shot, all pair of eyes were on the two of them. Including the dogs one who looked ready for an attack.
How could you not be frightened by that?
Camila noticed the small pace she was walking as she approached them. Cautiously, almost if she was going to be caught. But it all stopped. Everything stopped once she saw the person that was going off against the man.
She was frozen. Not being able to move nor speak. For the past two years she thought about what she would do once she saw her again. But here she is..
She's standing right there, defending herself against someone twice the seize as hers with a killer dog. Her eyes are focused on him as her arms move back and forth, often pointing accusingly at him. Her hair is now back in a ponytail, making it possible for her to see every small detail of her face.
She had grown. A more mature face, and Camila was already in love with it. The dog barked making Lauren swift her gaze to the dog, she studied her eyes. How they moved. And tried to memorize every little thing in detail, because only god knows how long she would get.
When Lauren's eyes lifted from the dog, Camila's eyes came in contact with the green ones. As they held her gaze.
Lauren face looked in shock and surprise, her moth hanging open and her eyes wide. And Camila was pretty sure she looked exactly the same. The man kept talking to her but when he realized she wasn't going to talk back he just walked away.
But Lauren didn't mind one bit, in fact both of them didn't even notice.
"Camila?" Lauren was the first one to speak, and move. She got closer to the girl, softly touching her cheek.
"Yes." The brunette whispered, a tear falling from her eye. Lauren wipes it away before throwing her arms around the girl, bringing her in closer for a hug.
"I can't believe it's you."
