Lauren shifts the radio station, browsing trough the channels hoping to found one that is actually playing some music.

"How is it that I always run late when I'm with you?" She questions, settling down when she hears Rihanna playing. Turning the volume up too.

"I can't help it that you want to spent so much time with me that you don't leave." Camila winked at her taking a turn left.

Lauren just shook her head laughing as response, shifting her gaze out of the car. She found it so peaceful to drive, passing everyone while moving forward. Even though at this time of the day not many people were out.

It was still dark outside as it was an early November morning. One of the reasons Lauren loved the summer more, you would wake up and see the sun shining. It gives you this positive vibe, but it also waking up with a dark sky makes you feel as you've woken up so early.

"Thank you, for driving me." Lauren thanked as Camila comes to a stop on the parking lot of her workplace.

"Don't mention it. I'll text you how much you own me for gas." Camila joked

"For real, then I guess I might have to get back on you for the movie tickets and all the games we played yesterday."

"I was only joking, no need to be cruel."

"I was just stating some facts." Lauren defensively says, throwing up her hands. "But I really have to go now." Lauren hinted. She said her goodbye before getting out of the car.

Once the door was closed Lauren knocked on the window, making Camila roll it down. "Don't miss me too much." Lauren joked, biting her lip to not smile all too bright. Her hands gripped the top of the car as she slightly bent down so she could see Camila.

"How considerate of you Jauregui, I'll try for you." Camila answered, sarcasm laced in her voice. "That's all I ask." Lauren replied, her grip on the car making it able for her to balance herself on the back of her feet so she could give Camila a playful look.

Camila was leaning on the passenger seat with her elbow, making it possible for Lauren to give her two kisses as a goodbye when Lauren bent down again.

Afterwards she took big passes to the front of her workplace, only turning back to wave when she heard Camila's car honk.

The temperatures were staring to drop so Lauren was happy once she got inside. She greeted her girlfriend, whom she didn't expect to see there. She never worked on a Saturday but she must have switched a shift.

Due the weather Lauren thinks most people would rather eat in for lunch, seeing that most of the tables are empty. It makes time pass by slowly, so slow that Lauren feels she has covered a whole shift when it's just her lunch break.

Her girlfriend joined her for lunch shortly after. "I didn't know you had to work?" Lauren questioned as she sat down next to her, giving her a peck on the lips first.

"I told you I did, so we can go to the party of Janet on Friday." Reminding Lauren of it.

"You know that I saw you getting out of that car right." Alesia was the first to brought up the topic Lauren was trying to avoid.

"Don't tell me you cheated on me again." Alesia accused when Lauren didn't respond. "I didn't baby." She didn't miss a beat to answer. And this time she wasn't even lying too.

"Than you better explain to me right now what you were doing at some bitches house all night."

Lauren dramatically rolled her eyes, chewing on the last bit of her food completely done with this conversation. "I told you about Camila," she tried to explain, "she's my friend from Miami. We were just catching up and I hurt my ankle so it was better that I didn't drive."
