Looking at other couples dancing can be quite boring... so I look for a familiar face with whom I can start a conversation with.. "Sis!" oh god! not Lea again... Don't get me wrong, I love my sister.. it's just that I'm in no mood to talk to her at the moment.. Handling her is like a fast train passing over you... "Sis..I've been looking for you all over the place!" really? I thought you were too busy flirting with god knows who! But I don't say that instead "I was here the entire time Lea" I reply politely but she knows better that I'm trying my best not to show my irritation "Sis... I-I want y-you to m-meet someone" Lea stutters only when she knows that she's about to do something I disapprove of. I narrow my eyes at her "what is it 'sis'?" I mock her. she gulps "umm... I'll just be around..." "JAXON!" I hear a male voice call "I'm here.. Justin" Jaxon replies... I just glare at my sister the entire time. She looks down fidgeting her fingers. Lea looks at me nervously and I glance at her, my expression full of suppressed fury, she looks away. Justin holds out his hand for Lea to shake and she takes it "You must be Lea. I've heard a lot about you" Lea just gapes at him. I give her a look saying 'Reply' "umm.. nice meeting you too Justin" Justin's gaze shifts from her to me and something flutters inside me. He looks at me and I hold his gaze "I'm Justin. You must be Shriya" I reply indifferently "Hello Justin. Yes, I'm Shriya. It's a pleasure meeting you" "Same here" he replies. Jaxon looks at him incredulously. okay.. awkward.. "umm... me and Jaxon are going to dance" I look at my sister with fury and she just ignores me "I thought I said I needed to speak to you alone?" I ask with fury, no more able to hide it "Sis, we can do that later I'm going okay bye!" she drags Jaxon over the dance floor. This conversation is not over yet! "JUSTIN!" I hear someone call Justin. He turns around and hugs a guy "Long time no see bro" says the guy "yeah..it's been really long. How have you been?" "I've been good. whose this beautiful lady?" he asks gesturing towards me "Is she your lady love?" I feel Justin's body go rigid beside me. I introduce myself to the guy "I'm Shriya and you are?" "Oh! I know your Shriya... who doesn't? I'm Chaz by the way" "Nice meeting you Chaz" "same here gorgeous" He winks at me. Gosh! he's so flirty! "CHAZ!" a female voice calls out "Babe I'm here!" Chaz replies. I see a woman making her way towards us probably around my age that is around twenty or so. She hugs Chaz and and faces me and Justin "Justin... oh god! you look so hot!" Justin shifts uncomfortably "umm.. Thanks" he replies. "Oh! sorry I'm Caitlin by the way. Are you Justin's girlfriend because if you are then I'm so sorry because I called your boy-" I interrupt "umm... Justin's not my boyfriend... and I'm Shriya" I answer awkwardly " oh gosh! I'm so sorry I..." "that's alright" I reply "SHRIYA!" Oh thank the heavens! Aiden's here! "Shriya.. where were you?" "umm.. I was talking to-" "Oh Hey Aiden!" Caitlin interrupts me " Hi Caitlin" Aiden replies. He holds out his hand for me to take it "come let's go" he says. I'm about to grab his hand when I feel an arm around my waist. I gasp at the sudden contact. "Our parents needed to see us" Justin responds indifferently. Aiden's eyes narrow when he sees Justin holding my waist "so shall we?" Justin asks me "umm.. yeah.." I whisper. What the hell is happening? what is going on? Justin intertwines our hands and leads me away, ignoring everyone's incredulous looks..
