'I hope I don't regret this' is the first thought that crosses my mind as I step into one of New York's most exclusive clubs. My nerves are out of control as I settle into one of the seats at the bar. Can't blame myself- I'm meeting a relatively dangerous guy.

"What would you like ma'am?" the bartender asks, leaning towards the counter in an attempt to hear my voice over the loud music. "Just water please" I respond, smiling. I need to be sober tonight. He hands me a bottle of water and I thank him. I take a much needed drink from the bottle. The music is too loud and I can smell the all too familiar nauseating smell of sweat and liquor. It's suffocating.

But that's the least of my concerns. I have no idea how I'm going to recognize that guy for all I know he would have already arrived and would be watching me. CRAP! I hope that's not the case. 'Your not that attractive for you to be his fascinating object' my subconscious retorts. Ah! There you are! Jeez... Thanks for boosting my self esteem.

I haven't informed Justin about this. Not that I would, given a chance. This is solely my personal matter. But I did text him informing I would reach home a little late giving an excuse that sounded very much like 'Got a crisis in office.' I hope he buys it. Ugh! My brain is about to combust because of the loud music! I never was a party girl though Lea is completely the opposite. She's more of the 'play hard' type. Speaking of which, there's no sign of that fucktard. I swear if he doesn't show up- "Mind if I buy you a drink?" A guy asks, settling into the seat next to me, interrupting my trail of thoughts.

I look up to find violet-blue eyes filled with mirth and do a double take. My eyes widen. "Will" I whisper, breathless."Umm.. That would be me." He retorts, amused. "What the fuck are you doing here?" I ask defeated, putting my face in my hands, my voice muffled. "Aren't you pleased to see me Baby?" he asks, faking sadness. "Not even a bit" I reply glaring at him. "Ouch. Truth can be harsh. It takes brave souls to listen to it and one of them is me."

Typical Will. "I'm not in the mood for your sarcasm and you still haven't answered my question." I mutter annoyed. "Well, I think it should be obvious but your clearly living under a rock. Anyway, I'm here to get wasted. Have you heard of that?" He asks, sarcasm dripping from his words. I feel like punching his face. Calm down. "So why don't you continue doing that? Oh and one piece of advise- You already sound wasted so don't drink too much." I respond, smirking, patting his shoulder in a mocking way.

"What are you doing here?" He asks, raising his eyebrows. "Last time I checked, it's none of your concern." I reply, staring right at his eyes. His eyes... They're alluring. "You never struck me as the partying type and your staring." He replies, smirking. "Huh?" I mutter, snapping out of my trance. Way to go Shriya. "No. I wasn't staring at you. To be more precise, I was staring behind you. I think there's a fight going on." "Whatever helps you sleep at night." He retorts turning around.

Sure enough, there's a fight and it's heating up with every passing second. "Hmm... Must be over some sexy girl I bet." He comments, rolling his eyes. "And your point is?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. "Nothing. I'm just stating an observation. In fact they're making a joke out of themselves." "So you've never been in such a situation?" I ask. intrigued. "Maybe." He responds, smirking. "Your kidding me right? You- William Sarcastic Casanova- never got in a fight?" I ask, astonished.

"Sarcastic Casanova? And I don't understand why is it so hard to believe?" He asks frowning. "Because you don't struck me as the innocent goody goody guy." I reply, quoting his earlier statement. He rolls his eyes. "Well I'm sorry to disappoint you then." He replies sarcastically. "Wait. Your serious? Why?" "Why? What kind of question is that?" "Don't give me this dumb reason that girls threw themselves over you so you never had to fight for them. I'm not going to buy it." I reply, rolling my eyes.

He comes closer and whispers "As a matter of fact, I am the centre of attention for girls and they did throw themselves over me. Not that I'm complaining." I roll my eyes at his cockiness. I feel my phone vibrate and take it out of my back pocket.

Unknown:

I see you having a great time with Mr. Mysterious. You could have asked me to postpone our little meeting.

FUCK! He's here. I look around trying to spot someone who looks suspicious. 'Who the fuck are you trying to fool? You don't know how that fucktard looks!' my subconscious hisses at me. "Trying to find a hot guy when someone whose steaming hot is sitting right next to you?" Will retorts, snapping me back to reality. "Huh? Umm.. My secretary texted me informing me about a problem so I just got a little distracted." I respond, grateful that I didn't stutter.

'This is the epitome of lame excuses.' my subconscious mutters, rolling her eyes. I ignore her. "Okay. You sure it's nothing?" He asks, concerned. "Umm.. Yeah. Could you give me a moment?" "Yeah sure. You want something to drink?" "No. Thanks though." I reply with a smile. I reply the fucktard; Where the fuck are you? You told me to wait at the bar. I've been here since an hour. I feel my phone vibrate.

Unknown:

I don't think you have a reason to complain since it's quite observable that your having the time of your life with a certain someone.

This gets me pissed. The Fuck! I immediately reply; Listen you son of a bitch! I'm not jobless to just come and sit in this fucking club waiting for your stinky ass! If you have had a change of plans at least have the decency to inform me! Who the fuck does he think he is?! I open my bottle and take a huge gulp. "You look like a tomato now." Will comments with a laugh. I glare at him. "Woah! I was just joking! No need to look at me as if you want to rip me apart." He replies mockingly, his eyes filled with amusement. "I might actually consider that." I reply nonchalantly.

I again feel my phone vibrate. "Give me a sec." I say as I retrieve my phone from my pocket.

Unknown:

Cursing for your information turns me on and you surely don't want that. You look sexy in your all-too-familiar office wear- A treat for my eyes. Come to the dance floor. I'll meet you over there and dance a bit babe. Wanna see your booty move.

I have this overwhelming urge to throw my phone. 'You'll look like a lunatic not that it would matter since you already are.' My subconscious remarks nonchalantly, blowing her painted nails. Oh Shut Up! I look towards the dance floor. It's so crowded. What about Will? I reply; What about my companion? You obviously want 'our little meeting' a secret.

Unknown:

What you fail to understand is that it's none of my concern. You invited him over so now you figure out what to do about it.

I did not invite him over, you arse! In fact I have no idea what he is doing here! But I'm not going to give any explanation to that fucktard! He already indicated that he would be of no help. Lord! What am I going to do?! "Penny for your thoughts?" Will asks, sipping his drink, his eyes focused on me. "Why don't you carry on with what you came to do. I'm already waiting for one of my business associates." I say, sipping my water. "So in other words, your dismissing me?" he asks, raising his eyebrows.

"Maybe. But I'm serious Will. Don't let me stop you from having fun. The one I'm meeting with will arrive any minute." "Okay. I'll see you later then." "Alright then. Thanks for entertaining me tonight. It would have been boring waiting." I say smiling. "My pleasure. Now let me go and grab some hotties." He replies, gulping his drink and walking away from the bar. I roll my eyes. Phew! That was easy. Now time for our little meeting. I take a deep breathe and head towards the dance floor.
