So, yesterday I was working with one of our project horses. Well, she is a sweet horse and her name's Cami. She's super sweet and super smart. Within an hour I was riding. That was the first time we had even met. That happened on Wednesday. Well yesterday was Thursday. I was bringing her back into the barn to saddle and ride.
The donkey, Eeyore walked out in her blind spot. She spooked and I ended up underneath her. I felt one of her back hooves hit me right over my ear, and it wasn't just a clip. My first thought was "welp, there goes my hearing." I heard nothing everything was silent. During it, I wasn't scared at all I was just worried about what doctor bill we would have to pay. This is where the huge praise comes in. I'm ok and it could've been so much worse. I could still be in the hospital right now. Fortunately I never made it there tho I was close. She nicked my ear Inside and out and it's bruising pretty bad. I keep going back over it in my mind, and every time I realize just how scary and dangerous it really was. I am thanking God so much for it turning out the way it has. I'm so thankful words can't even explain. I can't move my face without it hurting, but it could've been so much worse. Please keep me in your prayers, but just thank God!!
