So I'll get on the want I'm about to say in a minute. Were under a tornado warning right now, and there's hail, and the horses won't go inside. It's raining really hard. Like really hard , and it's really windy, and... It's just bad. Technically the warning is still going, but we don't care we're just upstairs.
So for what I was gonna say:
Does anyone ever feel like they stink at training, just because one day didn't go well? That's been me lately.
Well, today, I took Ozzy out and she did amazing. I took her outside the pen, which is really hard because she has separation anxiety from Jackie. Usually I have to lunge her every five steps. And by five steps I mean a body length plus a foot. Today, I only had to lunge her twice, and she was amazing!!
It's days like today that trainers like me, like us, live for. Not those days where we feel like we should give up because we don't feel like we are making a difference. We are.
The last time I was with Ozzy, it did NOT go well at all. Today, was great!
Right when we feel like giving up, that's when the miracle happens! Just remember that folks! Believe in God, yourselves, your horses, and you will go far!!
Have fun!!!
