So, I have been meaning to update, but I've been putting it off. There has been good things, and bad things that have happened, and I really don't know where or how to start.
As you all know already, we had to put our 25 year old mare, Jackie down on June 30. (Im pretty sure I updated that at least, right?)
And I updated that the vet looked at ozzy but we were waiting for the results to come back, right? We got them back and she has squamous cell carcinoma and sarcoid. Only my horse would get both, right? So, with SCC, it spreads underneath the skin even if it shows up outside. It spreads to the lymphs and the blood stream. We are trying herbal solutions so I will keep you all posted and just keep praying.
In other news, we got another horse. His name's Moonshine and he's a chocolate brown quarab gelding. He's dead broke tho not fully desensitized. He's a sweetheart and I say a beginner horse.... I thought I had pictures, but turns out I don't. I'll try to put some on asap. I'm on vacation right now, so I can't yet. I gotta go, but I will tell more later!
