heart attack

So, I don't know if any of you guys have ever had a horse get away, and you weren't able to find it?
   Well, a few years ago, there was a really bad lightning storm, and my horse Jackie got away. We found her about three days later in some guys yard. Thank heavens.
   Now a few days ago, someone accidentally left the gate open, and both the horses got out. My dad decided to tell me as I'm getting picked up for school. Thanks dad. I'm not even joking, I am almost positive that I almost had a heart attack.
   Fortunately, they were only in the hay field and they came trotting in as soon as my dad called them.
    Doesn't that sound kind of scary?
   I almost died.
   Kinda made me think though.
   What if we hadn't found them? What if they had gotten hit by a car, or a coyote got them?
   So many things could've happened.
    Moral of the story? Check the gate.
