Hey! I'm back! so, as you may be able to tell by the title, I have ANOTHER prayer request. We had the vet come out last Wednesday to check over Ozzy. She has had an open sore looking thing on her rear, around the vulva and rectum. He had to take a biopsy to make sure, but he is pretty sure it is cancer. Here are the types of cancer it may be: Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC), Sarcoid, or other. (Those are the words straight out of the Dr's. mouth...) if it is SCC, we can do surgery to fix it, but 1, surgery is freakishly expensive, 2, SCC spreads below the skin, so the surgeon would have to take about 2 inches around it, but where the cancer is located, that would be very hard to do. So pretty much, if it is SCC, we will just keep her around until it starts actually showing in her attitude. If it is Sarcoid, it is easily treatable with some sort of gel. So that is whats new, and I'll keep you guys posted!!
