Chapter 23

I woke up so early this morning I had no idea why.

I saw Taylor sound asleep, I didn't disturb him, he had a long night last night.

I looked over on my night stand to grab my phone, I had a text from my mom.

From: Mom
Sarah, please call me.

To: Mom
Okay.

I took my phone off my charger, and tip-toed out the door of my room. I saw that no one else was up in my house.

I quietly walked downstairs, I decided to talk to her out on the porch.

I stepped outside my house and closed the door.

I clicked on her contact and the phone started to ring, It had only rang once before she picked up.

"Sarah..?" She spoke, I heard her tears.

"Mom? what's wrong?!" I started freaking out.

"I'll tell you in a little. Is anything happening new in your life?" she said holding back tears.

Then I remember I haven't told her about Taylor and I getting married.

"Oh yes! I do actually." I said trying to brighten the mood.

"What is it?" she seemed a bit more excited.

"Can you bring Dad over here too, I want both of you to know." I smiled.

My mom started bursting into tears.

"Mom? is something wrong with dad?" I asked weakly.

"Sarah... He passed aw-way" she stuttered.

My heart broke. I broke into tears, I fell to the floor.

"Wh-what?? how?!" I cried.

"A car accident." she said barely.

I hung up. I needed my time.

I cried uncontrollably.

My dad was gone forever. This can't be real.

•[[[TAYLORS POV]]]••

I woke up, Sarah wasn't there. I got up quickly and left the room.

"Hey have you seen Sarah?" I asked Jack Johnson.

"No, sorry. She might be downstairs." He told me.

I rushed downstairs, I found nothing.

Then I heard crying, outside the house.

It was Sarah.

I freaked out and rushed out the door.

I found her outside, curled up in a ball crying.

I rushed over to her. I picked her up and say her between my legs. I wrapped my arms around her tightly, holding her.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked as I kissed her cheek.

"My dad" is all she said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"He's gone Taylor, he passed away." She cried into my arm.

My eyes widened, and I held her tighter.

"I'm so sorry baby, he was a great guy, he's so proud of you Sarah. You've done so many great things. Just know we loves you" I told her.

"I never got to say goodbye or I love you. " She said crying harder.

"Tell him now, he can hear you." I told her as I moved her head up to the sky.

She looked up and smiled through her tears. "I love you Daddy" she said as a tear dripped down her face.

I kissed her forehead and we sat together.

ugh sad chapter.
I've written other chapter for this book and it's ending soon sorry guys. But the ending makes me cry wow.
