Ch. 8

*later on*

*Austin's POV*

I knocked on the PTB bus door. I was so nervous.

Alexa opened the door, a cigarette hung from her lips. She smiled. "Hey, stud."

I smiled and stepped on the bus. "Hey, cutie."

She sat on the couch. "I knew you liked her."

I laughed. "Maybe." I looked around. "Where is everyone?"

Alexa put her cigarette out. "They went out."

I sat down. "How come you didn't go out."

She grinned. "I have a date of my own coming over."

"Who?"

Alexa took a drink of water. "This girl I met earlier."

I heard the door to the back lounge open and Sophia rummaging around her bunk.

"Soph! Austin's here!" Alexa yelled.

"Out in a sec!" She yelled back.

My heart beat faster and my hands were all sweaty.

Alexa laughed. "You nervous?"

I nodded. "I've never been this nervous."

Sophia stepped out. "Where the hell is my phone?"

I looked at her and my jaw dropped. She looked perfect. Her long black hair was left natural, wavy. She wore black tights and an oversized white sweater and black combat boots. Her winged eyeliner brought out her carmel brown eyes and the red lipstick looked perfect.

"I think it's over there." Alexa said, pointing to the table.

Sophia walked over and picked up her phone. She turned and smiled at me. "You look nice.

I stood up and cleared my throat. "You look beautiful."

She blushed. "Thank you, sweets."

I walked to the door. "Ready?"

She nodded and kissed Alexa. "I'll see you tonight."

She walked towards me. I opened the door and she stepped out.

Alexa smiled at me. "Don't get her pregnant."

I stepped off the bus. "We're walking, is that okay?"

Sophia nodded.

We started walking and said nothing. Sophia lit a cigarette and blew the smoke away from me.

She looked up at me. "I'm really nervous."

I looked at her and smiled. "I am too."

She laughed. "Why would you be nervous? You're a gorgeous rockstar. You probably have these dates all the time."

I shook my head. "I'm nervous because I really want you to like me."

"Why?" She asked.

"You're beautiful. There's just something about you." I said.

The restaurant came into view. I motioned towards it. "There it is."

Sophia smiled.

We reached the restaurant and I opened the door for her. We were seated and ordered our drinks.
