*Austin's POV*

"Alright, guys. I'm out." I said to the guys. We had all been at Alan's house watching the game. I just wanted to get home to Sophia. I hadn't seen her since 8 am. It was now 1 am and I missed her like crazy.

I got home and walked in. I went upstairs and heard music coming from the bathroom. I opened the door. Sophia was in the bathtub, her eyes closed, a cigarette hanging from her lips. I frowned and sat on the edge of the tub.

"Soph. Why are you smoking?" I said.

She jumped and her eyes flew open. "God you scared me." She took the cigarette out of her mouth.

I took it from her and threw it in the toilet. "Sophia, you're pregnant. You can't be smoking." I turned back to her. Her eyes were filled with tears and she ran her fingers through her hair. My heart sank. "Soph?" I made her look at me. "Are you still pregnant?"

She shook her head. "I was bleeding earlier, so I went to the hospital..." She closed her eyes and shook her head. "I lost the baby, Austin."

I felt my heart break. I took her hand. "Baby, it's okay."

She started crying and covered her face. I got into the tub, fully clothed, and held her.

"Austin, your clothes are gonna get wet." She said, sniffling.

"I don't care." I pulled her on top of me and just held her. "Don't cry anymore, Sophie. It's okay."

She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, Austin."

I shook my head. "It's not your fault."

We sat like that for a long time. After awhile she got out of the tub and wrapped a towel around her. I got out too and took off my wet clothes. Sophia handed me a towel and we went into the bedroom. She got into sweatpants and a tank top and I threw on some shorts. We climbed into bed and I pulled her to me. She rubbed her arm and she ran her fingers up and down my scar.

"Austin. You don't have to be with me if you don't want too." She whispered.

I looked at her and frowned. "Why wouldn't I want to be?"

She looked up at me. "I know how much you wanna be a dad. You want kids and I can't give them to you."

I shook my head and propped myself up on my elbow. "Soph. I love you. I'm not gonna leave you just because you can't have kids."

She closed her eyes and rolled over on to her back. "I just don't want to disappoint you."

"Hey." I said, putting my hand on her belly. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Sophia. Listen to me. You're not gonna disappoint me. Ever."

She smiled weakly. "I love you."

I smiled and kissed her. "I love you too." I layed my head on her belly and rubbed her leg. "Everything's gonna be okay."
