Ch. 19

*later that night*

*Sophia's POV*

Austin sat with Alexa in the PTB bus. I sat with Lewis and Tino across from them. Alexa was crying and Austin was holding her and rubbing her back. Lewis and I were smoking a bowl.

Austin kissed the top of Alexa's head. "Lex, maybe you should go home and handle this."

Alexa sat up and shook her head. "No. My fans need me to be out there tonight."

Austin nodded and held her hand. "You guys were close?"

"Yes. He was my bestfriend." She closed her eyes and groaned. "This is so unfair."

I took a hit and passed it to Lewis. "Lex, it's gonna be okay."

"I know. It just sucks." She said.

Austin rubbed her hand. "I'm sorry Lex."

She stood up and went to the back room. I went to stand up and Lewis stopped me. "She needs to be alone."

I nodded and went and sat by Austin. He put his arm around me and kissed my forehead.

"How you feelin, baby?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I'll be fine."

Lewis sat back and shook his head. "It's just so crazy that he's gone. I feel like I was just talking to him."

"Can we not talk about it anymore?" I asked.

Austin nodded. I layed my head on his chest and he held my hand.

Tino smiled. "You guys are so cute."

I smiled. "I know, right?"

Lewis and Tino decided to go get food. They walked out and Austin rested his head on top of mine.

"Austin?"

"Yes?"

I ran my thumb across the tattoos on his knuckle. "Have you ever been in love?"

He shifted in his seat and pulled me closer to him. "Yeah. Why?"

"What does it feel like?"

Austin shrugged. "Amazing. Everything in your life just feels okay. You look at that person and just feel like your heart is gonna explode." He squeezed my hand. "It's hard to explain. You just feel it, ya know?"

I shook my head. "I've never been in love."

"You didn't love Matt?"

"I loved him. But I don't think I was in love with him. I loved him for saving me." I kissed Austin's fingers. "I think I just felt like I had to be with him."

Austin pulled me into his lap. "You make me smile." He kissed me.

I smiled. "Why? Because I'm so pathetic?"

He chuckled. "No. Because you're so cute." He cupped my chin. "Look at that smile, it's beautiful."

I kissed him.

He held my hands. "Is there anything you've ever really wanted to do that you haven't done yet?"

I kissed his hands. "Like what?"

He shrugged. "I dunno. Like a band you wanna see, or somewhere you wanna go, or anything like that? Like something you wanna experience before you die?"

I chewed on my lip, thinking. "That's a good question. I dunno. I don't think so. I've always wanted to travel, which I'm doing." I leaned into him. "I guess I don't really have anything I really wanna do."

Austin smiled. "Lame."

I playfully smacked his chest. "You're lame."

He laughed. "Uhh, babe. I'm a major rockstar. I don't think I'm the lame one."

I ran my finger up his chest and smiled. "Well you got me there." I kissed his jaw. "You know, you're actually a pretty sexy rockstar."

He licked his lips and smiled. "You're a pretty sexy groupie."

I chuckled. "Groupie?"

His hands fell on my waist and he pulled me closer. "Yeah. My own personal groupie."

I held his face and kissed him.

Mikey came in and fake gagged. "Love birds."

I smiled. "Hey, Mikey."

He grabbed a beer and sat down. "Hey, Princess."

Alexa came out and sat next to Mikey. Mikey put his hand on her thigh and kissed her cheek.

"Hey, Mike." She said.

"You okay?" He asked.

She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder.

I slid off Austin's lap and sat next to him. "I love you, Lex."

"I love you, too." She said. She moved Mikey's hand off her thigh.

Mikey took a drink of his beer. "Tour's over soon, Soph."

I shrugged. "And?"

"Well you and Danny broke up, so are you still staying with him?" Mikey said.

Alexa nodded. "Yeah I totally didn't even think of that."

"I dunno. I guess I can just go get an apartment or something."

"Can you afford that?" Alexa said, taking a drink of Mikey's beer.

"Not really. I'll find a way." I said.

Austin rested his head on mine. "I'm so sleepy."

"Bro, you have press in like an hour." Mikey said.

Austin groaned. "Ugh. I should probably go now then."

I smiled at him. "Are you really pouting right now?"

He stuck his tongue out at me. "I can pout if I want." He stood up and kissed me. "I'm gonna go find the guys."

"Okay baby," I said. "I'll see you later."
