Ch. 12

*next morning*

*Sophia's POV*

I woke up the next morning curled up against Austin. I looked up at him. He was still sitting up, but his head was dropped back on the back of the couch. I smiled. I picked up my phone and checked the time. It was 2:47pm.

Austin moved, still sound asleep. I stood up and walked to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and groaned. My hair was a mess and my eye makeup had smeared all around my eyes. I washed my face and brushed my hair and brushed my teeth.

I stepped out and went back to the back room. I stepped over to Austin and softly shook his arm.

He opened his eyes and smiled at me. "Good morning." he mumbled.

"Good morning, sweets." I said.

He sat up and stretched. "Holy crap. My back hurts."

I stood in the doorway. "I'm sorry I fell asleep on you."

He smiled. "It's okay. I'm glad you were comfy." He stood up and hugged me.

I hugged him back. "Can I borrow a pair of pajama pants so I can walk back to my bus?"

He nodded and threw me a pair of pants. I slipped them on.

"What do you have planned today?" Austin asked.

"Probably just go to all the shows." I said.

We walked to the front lounge and I picked up my bag and turned to Austin. "I'll see you later?"

He smiled. "Definitely." He hugged me and kissed the top of my head.

I walked off the bus and across camp to my bus. Alexa was standing outside, smoking.

"Hey, babe." I said, kissing her cheek.

She grinned. "What happened last night?"

I smiled and lit my own cigarette. "Dinner was amazing. We talked and laughed. And then I stayed with him last night."

Alexa smacked my arm. "How good was the sex?"

I smacked her back. "We didn't have sex." I smiled and got butterflies. "We totally had a moment though, Lex." I smiled bigger.

"Did you guys kiss?"

I shook my head and blew my smoke.

Alexa giggled and smacked my butt. "You like him!"

I smiled. "I don't know."

"You totally like him!" She squealed.

Lewis stepped off the bus and slipped his arm around my waist. "Who?"

"Austin." I said.

Lewis smiled. "He's cool." He looked at me. "So how long has it been since you had a drink?"

I smiled. "One week and 2 days."

He patted my back. "Good girl." He looked at Alexa. "We go on at 5."

He walked away and Alexa and I got on the bus. Alexa went in the back to smoke. I got in the shower.

When I was done I wrapped the towel around myself and walked to the back room. "What time is Of Mice & Men playing?" I asked Alexa.

She coughed. "7:30."

"Help me pick out an outfit. I wanna look cute." I said.

She stood up and dug through my bag. I sat down and dug through my other bag. Alexa pulled out a pair of light blue skinny jeans. "These make your butt look super good."

I grabbed them and a pair of underwear and slipped them on. I grabbed a bra. "What shirt?"

She smiled and ran to her bunk and came back with a white Guns n Roses shirt. I pulled it on and did my makeup.

Alexa pulled on a pair of black jeans and a white t-shirt.

We left and walked to the stage. Alexa went to do her sound check and I stood with Danny.

"So you guys had fun?" He asked after I told him about last night.

"Yeah. He's really sweet." I said.

James and Ben walked by with beers. I bit my lip and ignored my urges. Danny put his arm around me.

"Be strong." He said.

I looked at him. "I need a fucking shock collar."

He laughed. "You can do this."

Austin walked by with Alan and Aaron. He smiled and waved, but kept walking.

I smiled back and turned to Danny. "You think I'm moving to fast?"

He laughed. "Yeah, dinner and he just waved to you. Slow down, girl!"

I smacked his arm. "That's not what I meant!"

"What do you mean then?" He asked.

"Well. We just broke up. And I can feel myself getting feelings for him." I said. I frowned and looked at Danny.

He smiled. "You can like someone. Things weren't like a normal relationship with us."

Ben called Danny over to them and Danny walked away.

I stood by myself until PTB got onstage. I stood side stage and watched them perform.

*end of show*

I felt someone's hand on my back and I turned to see Austin smiling at me. "Havin fun?"

I smiled. "Yeah."

He put his arm around my shoulders. "So Alexa told me that Empire Records is your favorite movie."

I nodded. "I can quote that movie like a pro."

He smiled. "Well. I bought it earlier. And tomorrow we'll be in Ohio and I know everyone is going to this club Alexa found."

I smiled. "And?"

"Maybe while everyone is gone, you can come over and watch it with me?" He asked.

I kissed his cheek. "I'll be there."
