'She looks so beautiful when she sleeps.'

Lauren's voice flows through my head. I cuddle closer to her, she's smells amazing.

"What was that?"

I lift myself up to look at her, "I didn't say anything."

She furrows her eyebrows. 'I could've sworn she said something.'

I realize that I was hearing her thoughts. I lock eyes with her, 'It seems our thoughts are not our own.'

'What-? How-? '

'My guess,' I use my free hand to brush the hair off her newly marked skin, 'It must have something to do with becoming one.'

I look back into her eyes and they flash a platinum purple. That's new. I guess it makes sense though. Red and blue becoming purple, a true sign of being marked and brought together. I stretch and grab my phone to check the phone. 11:30. I guess we should get up, I'm sure the rest of the band would like to know I'm ok.

"I s'pose you're right. They should be getting ready for practice soon. Thomas has taken charge in your absence, but I'm confident that he'd be happy to hand the reins back over."

I chuckle, "I'm not gonna get used to this shared thoughts thing anytime soon."

She leans over and kisses me before getting up to get ready. I sigh in content, then proceed to get ready. 'I could get used to this.'

'Me too.'

We finally finish getting ready, it took a lot longer to accomplish than I thought. Being freshly marked and in the same room as your mate causes a great distraction. The need to... mate.. is a lot stronger. Most wolves mark and mate at the same time, but both Laur and I stopped ourselves before things could progress. Not that we didn't want to, we REALLY did, but we both wanted to wait.

Walking towards the stage, I hear Thomas and Seth bickering and Rita trying to break them up. Talia and Chica are ignoring the two boys and going over music notes. I see Seth step closer to Thomas and I sigh and look at Lauren, "I should go break them up, "

She smiles knowingly and lets me. I hear two low growls and I know if I don't act fast, they'll start fighting. Within a blink of an eye both boys are sent flying to opposite sides of the stage. I stand between where both boys stood. I her several gasps, including one from my mate. I stand there stunned. 'How the hell did I do that so fast?'

I hear Lauren's thoughts answer mine, 'Maybe we underestimated JUST how much strength the two of us have now. Newly marked and all.'

I shake off my surprise and look at the two boys as they groan when they stand, "I come back and you two are arguing like children. Remind me that going away for more than a day is bad. Now all of you, come give me hugs you crazy fools."

Instantly we all got into a group hug and start laughing. When we let go I look to them all asking where we are currently, considering I've been passed out and wasn't sure.

"Houston," Talia answers with a smile.

I grin, "Does that mean Kiki is gonna be at the show?"

She nods excitedly, with thoughts of seeing her sister again. We all catch up to get me back up to speed, but I finally suggest practicing a couple songs. Once we go over our set list, we decide to start from the top and work our way down to the encore, if requested.

I walk up the mic and smile, 'I belong here.'

'Well, and also with me.'

I smile at her comment, then turn to everyone and nod. The music starts and excitement shoots through me.

I'm cut off by clapping side stage. I turn glare at the man who's hands stop clapping. He smirks at me, "Welcome back, Y/N."
