Chapter 16

When we got up to the room i stood in the doorway in awe. Shane wraps his arms around my waist. "Are you going to stand in the doorway all day or are you going to come in?" I laugh. "I'm just in awe." He puts a finger to my lips. "Its all for your birthday Baby. So enjoy my love." He pulls me more into the room and closes the door behind us. 

I walk over to the sliding glass door. "Omg Babe, look at the beach." He wraps his arms around from behind and kisses my neck. "I know that's why I picked this spot." I smile. We stand there just looking out at the beach.

Shane pulls away from me I turn around and see him holding his side. "Babe are you okay?" He nods and runs to the bathroom. I follow him but he shuts the door. "Shane Oliver Smith you Lair! Please can I come in?" He doesn't answer "Shane?" I say turning the handle. "No..ba..by" He started to throw up. I kneel down next to him and rub is back. That's when I feel that he is all sweaty. I stop rubbing is back and pull away from him little and I realize its not sweat it is blood.

"Oh my freaking gosh Shane your bleeding!!!!"  He starts throwing up again I call 911. It didn't seem to to take them long to come. I'm now sitting in the waiting room of the hospital waiting to hear if he is going to be okay. Tears are streaming down my face. I feel someone take a hold of my hand. I look up and see a little boy. He has brown hair and dark green eyes. "Why tad?" I smile at the little boy he cant more then three years old.

"I'm okay cutie just a little scared is all." "Oh, me Luca!" I smile again at him. "Hi Luca, I'm Layla. Who are you here with?" "My mommy and daddy." "Where are they?" "Oh um Mommy had a cheek up for the baby in her tummy and daddy took me to go potty but I ran in front of him. Then I saw you. "  "Luca Gage Thompson!" We both look up.

I'm guessing that this is Luca's parents. "I'm so sorry he just ran off I hope he didn't bug you. I'm Aaron and this is my wife Beth. I look up at him he is the same height as Shane and now I see where Luca gets his looks from. "Hi I'm Layla and no he didnt bug me. I look over at his wife.

She is a little bit shorter then Aaron but she is so cute and perfectly around. "Hi Beth its nice to meet you." "You too." Aaron was kneeled down to Luca's level talking with him. "He is so good with him." "I know i can't wait until this little girl comes." She rubbed her belly as she talked. "So your having  a girl that's exciting." She smiles.

We talk a little longer and find out they are here on vacation as well and staying at the same hotel. Beth and I exchange phone numbers and they leave. But not until Luca gives me a hug.

Shortly after they leave and a doctor comes out and tells me that a couple of Shane's stitiches let loose that's why he was bleeding but he doing much better now and is asking for me. I'm now following the doctor to Shane room.
