Chapter 14

Shane and I have been in the car for only 25 minutes and I'm going insane. Shane still held my hand. "How did you afford this car and trip?" I say breaking the silence. He squeeze my hand. "Well I got my money from my father's family that he put away for me."

He brought my hand up to his lips and kisses it. He does that a lot lately he has been kissing me more and more. I wonder if he will kiss me on lips. Ooo I hope so! Whoa do I have feelings for my best friend?  Nah he just is being like this so I know how to act around it so if Zander does it I know what to aspect.

"Beautiful?" I jump so high that my butt comes off the seat. "Sorry I didnt mean to scary you I just have been talking to you for the pass ten minutes and you didnt respond.  So I yelled a little louder. I'm sorry I scared you Sweetheart." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. We where at a stop sign.

"Its okay I was um just what it be like if ... I was just thinking sorry what did you say?" "I asked you what you were thinking about because you zoned out after I kissed your hand." I couldn't help but smile. "Oh sorry I'm just tired I guess sorry." "You can sleep if you want I will wake you when we get closer."

I smiled again dang he is just so cute. And I have to say he looks hot behind the wheel of a Lamborghini. Oops I just just called him hot! I laugh out loud. "What's so funny Beautiful?" I dont say anything i just laugh again.

"Layla Margaret Alexandria dont make me pull over and tickle you until you tell me." He looked at me with a dead serious face. I couldn't help it I laughed again. He looks at me and smiles, then turns back to the road. The next thing I know he jerks the wheel and we come to a complete stop.

The next think I know I hear a click and Shane is on top of me. "You have to the count of ten to tell me or i will tickle it out of you. So what's it going to be?" I bit my lip and shake my head. "One." Oh crap he is  serious about this." "Two" I still dont say anything. Not even when he gets to nine. He starts to tickle my sides. I scream out in laughter. It goes on until I can't breathe. "Can't breathe."

I say breathlessly. He stops and looks at me. "Tell me." He leans in and kisses my chin. "Okay I laughed because I realized how hot you looked behind the wheel of a Lamborghini." He blushes. Whoa I actually made him blush. He smiles and start to lean in closer. Oh snap is he really going to kiss me?  He leans father in and I close my eyes.

I can feel his breath at my ear.  "Layla I really want to kiss. Are you okay if I do?" I became breathless again. He kisses my ear softly. I nod giving him permission. He cups the back of my neck and slowly makes his way to my lips.

I wrap my arms a round his neck. He leans is forehead on mine. Then i feel him tilt his head. "Are you  sure you want this Beautiful?" I dont answer I pull him so his lips smash against mine.
I swear I see fireworks and stars. Shane smiles against my lips. And I smile too. This kiss is nothing like the one I shared with Zander. This is more slower and it feels right. Shane pulls away breathless.

"Wow!" Is all I say. Shane buries his face in my neck and i feel him smile he places little kisses here and there. We start to catching our breath. Shane pulls away from me and leans in for a small kiss on my lips.

"Layla open your eyes." I do as I'm told. "Hi handsome" "Hey Baby." I smile. "Layla I have to ask you something  and you have to tell me what you really think." "Okay Shoot." He smiles. "When we are on this trip can we pretend that we are a couple?  Because now I don't think I can stop kisses you." I nod and lean in and kiss him.

"Whoooo your my pretend boyfriend. Hehehe this is going to be an amazing trip." Shane kisses my cheek and gets off of me. He puts his seatbelt on and pulls it back on the road. I lean in and kiss his cheek.

I try and get comfortable to try and sleep but that seems impossible. "Unbuckle your seatbelt." I do as he says then look at him. He pulls my down so my head is resting on his lap. I smile. He starts to play with my hair and I close my eyes. "Love you Shane." "I love you too girlfriend now get some sleep Beautiful." A huge is on my face now. Hearing him say girlfriend makes my heart melt.

Shane turns on the radio and its playing two is better then one. Shane starts singing along. I doze off to my boyfriend's voice and his hands in my hair.
