Chapter 24

In the car ride home I decided that when I get back I am going ask Shane what his problem was. Even if I have to demand it out of him. He isn't going to re co my future. I decide what I want in my life. Right all I want is him like I did this weekend. When we got to the castle I didn't wait for Finn to open my door I open it and run right in.  I hear my Mother and Father in the dining room. Then i hear Zander’s voice I want to ran the other way.

I shook my head trying to clear those thoughts. I need to find Shane. Where could he be??? I start to walk down the hall where his is. And I hear him signing. I walked up to his door but didn't knock or go inside yet. He was singing Kiss Me Slowly by Parachute. Dang I love his voice. I feel tears run down my cheeks now.

I wipe them away angrily. I reached out for the doorknob. I turn it when he on the last verse of the song. He is seating on his bed with his guitar in lap. I just stand there looking at him. He didn't look up from his guitar he we playing the last chords and used tears in eyes. I moved closer as he put the guitar down next to him. He still didn't look up. I walked closer and his floor creaked when I stepped on a loose bored.

He finally looked up and he had tears rolling down his cheeks. I couldn't take it anymore, I need to touch him. I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and basically sit in his lap.. I took a deep breath. Dang I know its only been a few hours but I really missed his smell. I let go looking at him and I wipe the tears from his face. I knew at that moment I need to kiss him.

“Lay..” I cut him off by mashing my lips to his. He didn't kiss me back. So I slid my hands to his hair and pulled gently. He then start to kiss me. I smile against his lips. When we pull apart he looks at me with a confused face. “Layla what was that for? I'm guessing you didn't get my letter this morning?” I shake my head running my fingers through his now messes up hair. “No I got it but I don't have a future unless I'm with you. You are all I want Shane. I love you not Zander. I want to marry you I want you to be my side when I'm queen. You Shane and only you.”

He just looked at me then he pulled me closer so he can kiss me. He pulls away and lays down pulling to lay down on his chest. “ I'm not sure how we can hide our feeling for each other but I'm willing to give it a shot. I love you baby, and I want to be with you.” He began to rub circles on my back. I close my eyes enjoying being in his arms again.
