"Layla, wake up we need to go now!" I open my eyes to to see Shane standing by my bed with his sword out, I sit up and rub my eyes. "Come on we don't have much time!" "What do you mean what is going on?" I'm so confused it's still dark out so it as to be really late. He doesn't answer my questions he walks over to the side of my bed and pulls the covers back and grabs me and throws me over his shoulder. "SHANE!" "SHUT UP!" That instantly made me mad. "Please Baby, be quite i will explain everything when we get you to safety." He whispers. Now i'm really scared. What is going on? Shane puts me down and opens the secret doorway in the hallway and he peaks his head in then i see a bright light flash. He then pushes me inside and he follows me.

There isn't really a lot room in here it's like size of a pantry. There are shelves hanging on the far wall with food and any other stuff you might need. There is a tiny toilet you would find in a jail cell, and a really tiny sink. "Okay now i'm safe, please tell me what is going on?" He takes a few deep breaths. "Breath Babe and tell me when you are ready." "Okay so you know i said that i know that Zander and Kenna are a thing?" "Yeah, what does that have to do with us hiding right now." He sits on the ground and reaches for me, I grab is extended hand. he pulls me onto his lap.

"Well, the attack on Parker, that was King Ryder's people and Kenna is apart of his team. She isn't what you remember, when she moved to Parker she didn't go because she wanted to go live with her dad she went there because she wanted to become a rebel. She knew the only way she could get a crown she had to marry into a royal family. When she got to Parker she meet Zander and they became a thing. But King Ryder doesn't like Kenna so he told her if she wants to stay and be with Zander that she has to become the leader of the rebels. So she did. She controls the rebels, and they are here right now. So i'm going to keep you safe in here as long as need be."

I didn't know what to think, Kenna was a rebel? I knew there was something off about her. but why will she come her? Is she going to try to steal my crown. I don't know what think, someone that i trusted is a rebel. I feel the tears running down my face now. "Shh it's going to be okay Baby i promise i will keep you safe it is my job after all."

Three hours later

Finn came and whispered in Shane's ear, and Shane nods his head. Dang he's cute when he is work mode. His father would be so proud of him. He walks over to me. "What?" I shake me head. "Tell me Baby." "I was just thinking how cute you are when we are working and i was also thinking how proud your father would be of the man you have become." I get up from the floor and kiss him. "Do you really think he would be proud?" "Of course you do everything in your power to protect the people you love. That i know is something to be proud of." He smiles and hugs me close. i know he misses his father very much. He never got the chance to meet him but has heard a lot of stories about him. He also really misses having that connection that most people do with their fathers.

Shane walks me back to room and kisses my cheek by my door and i walk inside. I'm really tired now and all i want to do is curl up in a ball in my bed and go to sleep. But when i turn to walk to bed. I want to scream but i hold it in and fall to the floor because my knees give out. " Why are you in here? How did you get in here? I don't want to see you or talk to you. You are a trader!" I keep my voice low so Shane doesn't hear me. Out of a sudden there are arms around and they are holding to tight so i know it is not Shane. I try to scream but can't there are arms around my neck. Everything is getting blurry then goes dark with in minutes.
