Hugs (Connor/deaf!Evan)

Connor look up at Evan in surprise, then looked back at the paper. Was Evan talking to him? Connor looked up at Evan and signed "Are you talking to me?" Connor only knew how to sign English. When his grandpa learned, Connor decided to learn only English, as his grandpa only spoke the one language, and he found it too difficult to learn any more.

Evans face lit up and he took back to the green notebook he had written in. "You sign!?"
He looked so adorable like that. His eyes were practically twinkling and his mouth was stretched into a Cheshire-like grin. God, he wanted to kiss that grin so much.

"Yeah! I learned from my Grandpa who was deaf." Connor signed back. A small smile settling on his face. Evan looked so happy right then, and because of him non the less. He felt on top of the world, until Alana Beck decide to drop in.

She walked straight up to Connor, and just said "Hi there! Is he bothering you? He is deaf. He can't here you." Connor winced as she turned over to Evan and started signing, very fast one might add, "Hey! I'm Alana. I'm here to help you!"

"What's she saying?" Evan signed in confusion.

"I'm sorry, sign slower to me. You're going to fast." Alana signed, trying to catch Evans attention. Connor rolled his eyes and signed to Evan

"She says to sign slower, and that you need her help because you're deaf." Evans eyes widened and turned to face Alana before firing into rapid sign, looking rather insulted. Connor couldn't understand him but he knew it was bad.

"Alana, he clearly doesn't want your help. He's fine on his own." Connor said. Alana was a good person, she just always wanted to help everyone, but she didn't really understand how to talk to others in a kind way.

"But how will he talk to anyone?!" 

"I can interpret for him, and he can write if he wants to." Keeping his temper was hard. Zoe loved Alana and he didn't need anymore of Zoe's crap. 

"Ok, just ask if you need anything!" she said. Connor signed to Evan telling him what she said. Evan's anger disintegrated into a smile, although his eyes were still mad. Alana gave Connor a suspicious look before leaving.
Mrs. Nee moved up to Connors desk and started to talk.

"Connor I'm pairing you up with Evan for the book report on Animal farm. You're the only person who knows ASL." Connor gave a shy smile making Evan blush cherry red. He was so cute. On the inside he was screaming. Evan, Evan, Evan! He was paired up with gorgeous amazing beautiful wonderful sexy Evan.

"Okay."
