Nothing Connor did that day could keep that hug out of his mind. No one had ever really hugged him before, his family wasn't very physical and they didn't really like each other. It was new to him, but new didn't mean bad. He could get used to it.

Classes passed uneventful as always. Alana did however ask if Evan was doing okay with the adjustments. Connor politely said yes, not wanting to have Zoe on his back for "yelling" at her best friend. School was out, and Connor headed home to grab some stuff before walking to Evan's. Turns out his house was only 3 blocks down from Connor's.

Connor ran back to the house, hoping to beat Zoe back so he didn't have to see her on the way out. Zoe's drama was to much for him today, but of course, with his luck, she was already back.

He opened the door and saw Zoe laying on the couch watching "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She jumped up as soon as he walked in.

"Where did you go?" Zoe asked.

"What the hell do you mean 'where did I go'?" Connor questioned, moving towards the stairs. Zoe blocked him, getting to close for comfort.

"I meant after school." Zoe's tone changed to icy cold.

"I went home. Straight home. Now let me fucking go Zoe, I have stuff to do." Connors tone was quieter, showing he was not to be messed with right now. Zoe tentatively moved out of the way. Connor marched up the stairs to his room closing the door behind him.

Connor's room was not what most people would expect it to be. The walls were a light lavender, his favorite color. He had his way to large bed pushed up in a corner to make room for a small desk with his homework scattered around on it. Welp. Must've forgotten to turn those in.

Connor moved to the the small closet at the back of his room and opened it. Most of the clothes were purple or black, but he had some blue peeking through every once in a while.

Aiming to dress to impress, Connor picked out black skinny jeans that hugged just the right places, a lavender loose tank top and his normal sweatshirt. For shoes he wore his blue converse. It was Evans favorite color after all.

He open the desk drawers and pulled out a fresh notebook. He always kept one laying around, just in case. Not that he ever had to use them.

He also pulled out 3 pens. A blue one, a black one and a purple one. He found it fitting. Stuffing everything into his backpack he headed back down stairs. Only to be greeted by Zoe. . .again.

"What the hell do you want from me?!" Connor growled. Zoe took a step forward, challenging him.

"Heard you made a new 'friend' today" Zoe said. You could hear the sarcasm leaking into her voice.

"Yeah, and who told you that? Your girlfriend?" Connor retorted. Zoe blushed a flaming red.

"She's not my girlfriend! What makes you think that?" Zoe backed up a little leaving room for him to rush the door.

Connor scoffed. "Yeah right, Have fun while I'm gone." He took the moment and lunged for the door. He was out of there in no time. When he was already walking down the sidewalk to Evan's house, Zoe called out from the door,

"Where are you going?!"

Connor yelled back, "None of your fucking business!" Before running off to Evan's house.

He got there in under 7 minutes, it was so close. The house was relatively small, but that's how Connor imagined it. It was so. . .just. . .Evan.

Double checking the scrawl on his hand for the correct address, Connor knocked on the door and waited.
