She's been tortured,
she's been touched.
She's been beaten,
she's been shunned.
She's been told to never say a word,
she's been told she's given too much.
She hides,
in fear,
of the one she loves.
She hides,
in fear,
knowing it'll happen again.
She runs,
but is always caught.
He is bigger,
he is stronger.
He is ruthless,
he is heartless.
She's been abused,
she's been used.
She is torn,
giving love,
receiving hate.
She is torn,
giving love,
but is ignored.
She is loved,
in all the wrong places.
