Chapter 8

~1 week later~

Cory's p.o.v

It's been a week since Nick and I's date. It was really fun. I just finished lunch and I had to go to the grocery store because we were out of milk. I walked up stairs to change into different clothes so I could go out. I grabbed my shirt and jeans. I quickly changed and walked back downstairs. I grabbed my keys and put on my shoes.

"I'm going to the grocery store,I'll be back later."I yelled as I closed the door. I locked the door and walked to my car. I started the car and drove off.

~20 minutes later~

I got out of my car and locked it. I walked up to the doors of the grocery store and walked in. I got a cart and went to the dairy section. As I was getting the milk I saw a really pretty person. They were putting milk away. I decided to introduce myself.

"Hello."I said as I looked at them.

"Hi."they said smiling at me.

"My name's Cory,what's your name?"I said.

"My name is (y/n)."they smiled.

"That's a nice name."I smiled. They smiled back at me. God they're cute.

"Um here's my phone number."they said handing me a piece of paper with numbers on it.

"Thanks."I said.

"Can I call you tonight?" I asked.

"Um,you can call me after 6:30pm that's when my shift ends."

"Ok call you at 7 then." I smiled. I got the rest of the stuff I needed and payed for it. I put the bags in the backseat of my car. I got in the front and drove back home. As soon as I got home I went to my bedroom. I decided to play a few games of bedwars. 

-a few games of bedwars later-

I started a new game and saw that Ashlie,Nick,Tommy,Jon and Uni were in it. This is going to be fun. I went straight for diamonds. After about 5 minutes of the game I got a bow and built to center. As soon as I got to center I saw Ashlie going to diamonds. I aimed my now and shot. And what do you know I got her off. luckily they didn't notice it was me. I got emeralds and went back to my island. I got us obsidian and myself potions. 

I got over to yellow which was right beside red,which is the guys' island. Yellow had a bridge straight to red. I got to diamonds and drank the potions and went in. I got blindness as soon as I did. They had the trap. I broke the obsidian and got their bed. After a long war between red,my team won. I was bored of bedwars now and logged off. I looked at the time and saw it was 6:30. (Y/n) just got off their shift.

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

I got off and went to my car. I drove straight home. I opened the door and went to the couch of my apartment. I sat down and thought about Cory. If he was actually going to call or if he just forgot about me. It was 7:03 already and he hasn't called. Maybe he did forget. I sighed and turned off my t.v. I walked down the hall to my bedroom. I was about to give up on the calling thing until my phone started ringing. It was an unknown caller. It must be Cory. I pressed the answer button.

"Hello?"I said.

"Hey (y/n)!"Cory said.

"Sorry I didn't call sooner,I was busy."he said.

"Oh that's fine"I said.

"Hey wanna hang out tomorrow?"He asked.

"Yeah sure,actually tomorrow I have work off so we could hang out."I smiled.

"That sounds fun,where do you wanna meet?"

"How about that new ice cream place that just opened up?"I suggest .

"Sure,what time?"

"How about 2:30?"

"Sounds good.".

"Well gotta go,I'm kinda tired."

"That's ok see you tomorrow (y/n)."

"Night."

"Night."

After that I plugged my phone in and went to sleep.
