Chapter 17

-the next day-

Bri's p.o.v

I ran to Cory's hut and knocked on the door. The door slowly opened and Cory peeked out.

"Hey Cory!"

"Hey Bri!"

"So,I was wondering if you wanted to do hula lessons with me."

"Sounds fun!"

"Let's go! We have to get our hula skirts and flowers."

"Okay!" I pulled Cory out of the house and we started running towards the hula lesson building. We walked in and went up to the guy at the front desk. He said to go to the back room to get on our hula stuff. We walked in and there was so many colourful hula skirts and flower necklaces. I grabbed a skirt with dark blue flowers and a lei with dark blue flowers also. Cory grabbed a skirt with light blue flowers on it and a lei with light blue flowers too.

We walked out of the room and then into the garden where the lesson were held. We walked out and were greeted by flowers and trees in a circular shape with fence behind them. There were a few other people there. Not soon after we walked to the middle a last spoke.

"Okay everyone,I'm Ali  and I'll be teaching you hula!"she said loudly to make sure everyone could hear her. She had short brown hair and blue eyes. She was taller than me.  She was wearing a skirt with dark purple and red flowers and a lei with dark purple flowers. She also had flower bracelets and a flower crown,both had dark purple flowers. Why didn't we get those? Probably budget cuts. She began explaining how to do basic hula moves. It was really fun to do this. I was interested in learning things from different places but I'm pretty sure not many people are interested in hula considering the lack of people here. I learned a few things already,but I never learned dancing from a different place so this was fun. 

Cory seemed to be having fun too. He was actually pretty good at this. I didn't know Cory was this good at learning,especially dancing. While I was dancing I noticed a poster on the wall. It was about dance thing that was happening in a week or so. It looked cool. I should ask if everyone wants to come.

-After the hula lesson-

Cory and I walked out of the building. I turned towards him and smiled. He smiled back at me. This reminds me of high school. The only reason we broke up was because I had to leave. I still kinda like Cory. I was taken out of my thoughts when Cory grabbed my hand. He started pulling me to a less crowded area. I started at our hands the whole time. Cory was holding my hand. My face was very hot. I was most likely crimson red at this point. I looked at him,my face making a confused expression. He then leaned in and kissed me. I was shocked for a second but then kissed back. It's been so long since I've felt this way. Felt like I never wanted the moment to end.

When we broke apart,he was blushing too. We stared at each  other. Then we heard yelling. We both looked towards the noise and saw nick running over to us. 

"Hey guys! I finally found you!" Sgc nick yelled.

"Why were you looking for us?"Cory asked.

"Well I've already told everyone else and they said yes. So I need to ask you guys."

"What is it you need to ask?" I asked.

"I was wondering, if you guys wanted to go to the dance thing that's going on in a week? All of us together!"

"Sounds fun, I'll go! What about you Bri?"Cory said looking back at me.

"Sounds great!"

"Great,well I'll see you later!" Then nick ran away to where he was before he walked towards us. Cory and I looked at each other again then looked away. We both started walking back towards the huts. We said our goodbyes then went our separate ways towards our huts. I think I'm in love with Cory.....again.....who would've guessed?
