Chapter 25

- the dance thing-

Sgc's p.o.v

We were all already at the place where the dance thing was being held. It was really fun actually. It's kinda like a bar but outside on the beach. A lot of people are super drunk. I was hanging out with shelby, Bri, Uni, Ashlie, Jon, and Dawn. We have no idea where Nick and Tommy are. Probably making out or something. 

But what I'm more concerned about is we have no idea where Cory is. Ashlie said she saw him around the bar earlier so we decided he was fine. But if I don't see him soon I'm going to start looking for him.

We weren't really talking about anything to interesting. Just random stuff. Then Uni brought up a thing about cosplay and I started listening.

"I found this poster for a cosplay event and I thought maybe we could all go," Uni said.

"Sounds fun," Ashlie said.

"What would we go as?" Jon asked.

"I was thinking dead by daylight characters," Uni said. There was a bunch of agreeing noises. 

"But what character would we each go as?" Bri asked.

" I haven't really thought about what character but I've kinda thought about if you'd be a killer or survivor, but I mean you don't have to be a survivor if I say that you'd be one it's just a suggestion," Uni said.

"So,who's what?" Dawn asked.

"I was thinking, Ashlie, Nick ,Tommy , Jon, Cory, and I are killers. And dawn,Bri,SGC,and Shelby are survivors. But as i said it's just a suggestion." After Uni said that there was a bunch of "sounds good" and "I agree to that"'s. 

"When should we leave?" Bri asked. It is kinda late. 

"Um, what time is it?" Jon asked back.

"It's like two am," Ashlie said.

"We should leave soon, how about 10 minutes?" Uni suggested.

"Yeah," we all said. Uni got up.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"To get a drink, relax," Uni said. He then walked away to the bar area. We continued to talk about costumes and stuff.

Uni's p.o.v

When I got yo the bar I saw Cory and a girl talking. I didn't think it was anything so I order my drink. But I still don't have a good feeling about not keeping an eye on them. As soon as the girl touched Cory oddly I walked over.

"Hello," I said.

"Who are you?" The girl said. She sounded very snobby.

"I'm Uni," I said in a lower voice not really wanting to talk to this girl.

"Why are you here?" She asked.

"I've come to get Cory," I said grabbing his arm.

"what? You don't need him right now." She said.

"Yes I do, we're going back to our hut,"

"No you're not," she said grabbing his other arm.

"Yes we are,"

"why do you even care? Like What are you? his boyfriend?" She said in a mocking tone. My face got very hot.

"No I'm not his boyfriend, I'm his best friend," I said back sounding a little angry. She began laughing. As soon as she was about to say something else Bri came over and took us away. I looked back at the girl and she looked shocked and mad. I thanked Bri for the help and then we went back to Cory and i's hut.

Once Cory and I got back to our hut and I learned that Cory was drunk. He kept laughing and talking about random things. It was very strange but funny. I tried to get him to sleep but it didn't work.

"I like your hair," he said.

"Thanks," I said.

"It makes you look like a blue raspberry," he said. Then he started laughing. I laughed a little too.

"Thank you Cory," I said. Smiling at him,he smiled back at me. Then he yawned. Maybe he'll finally go to sleep. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. Our beds were still right beside each other kinda making a double bed. He was laying diagonally across both beds. I moved him a bit so he was on his side.

"Goodnight Cory," I said. Even though it's basically 3:00 in the morning. I laid down on my side of the bed and fell asleep. I can't wait for the cosplay event. It's going to be amazing.
