Chapter 41- New Year's Eve

Cory's p.o.v

Everyone was rushing around the house getting everything set up for the New Year's party tonight. I hope it goes well. We already had all the decorations set up. Now we were all just getting the food ready. I'm kinda stressed though because this is the second party in like two weeks. I sighed and set up the table where all the food will go. 

Soon everyone was placing tons of food on the table. I set out some spinners and stuff so they could use them when it's the New Years ball drop. I went into the living room and set up some blankets and pillows and stuff. I was also moving around furniture to make sure we had enough room.

Everything was set up and people were quickly coming. I was in the living room finding the right station to watch. I soon found it and was off to check on the guests. 

 The place was already packed. I didn't expect it to fill up this quick. As I was walking around I remembered something. I had gotten everyone a present for New Years. I'm not sure why, I just thought it'd be nice.

I went upstairs to my room, pushing through many crowds. Inside I found the fairly small boxes. I put them in my hoodie pocket and walked back downstairs. I decided to Ashlie her present first seeing as I had just saw her. I walked over to her.

"Hey Ash," I said smiling.

"Hey Cory," I said.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Well I thought it'd be nice to get everyone a gift so I got you this," I said taking out a small box from my pocket and handing it to her. And before she could say anything I ran off in search of the others. 

I quickly found Jon, Dawn, Nick,and Tommy. But not Uni, SGC, Shelby, and Bri. Why are they always so hard to find!? I walked around and ending up bumping into someone. I quickly caught them. I opened my eyes to see I was holding Bri. We smiled at each other.

"Hey Bri," I said.

"Hey Cory," she replied. I pulled her up on her feet.

"I was looking for you," I said.

"Really? Why?"

"Well I thought I'd get everyone a little something so here," I said handing her a smallish box. She smiled and grabbed the box.

"Aww Cory you didn't have to," she said as she opened it.

"I just thought I would," I said smiling. Finally she opened the biz to reveal an amazing bracelet that had flowers as its main design. I got it because it reminded me of when we went to hula lessons. She smiled and put it on her wrist.

"It's beautiful Cory! Thanks you!" She said engulfing me in a hug. I chuckled and hugged her back.

"No problem Bri!"I said. We broke the hug and she smiled up at me. She quickly leaned up and gave me a kiss on the cheek before running off into the crowd. She seems to do that a lot. I smiled. Tonight's going great!

I ran into the living room and saw Shelby singing along to the singers on T.V. I smiled, her singing was quite nice. I walked over to her. The song quickly ended and she looked over at me.

"Hey Cory!" She said in her high pitched voice.

"Hey Shelby," I said.

"Wanna sing with me?" She asked.

"Oh, Im Not good at singing," I said trying to back out.

"To bad!" She yelled. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me next to her. The next song came on. Shelby started singing. I couldn't help but singing along. Soon she began to dance around the room with me. I spun her around. And she would spin me around. We both laughed as we did this. Soon the song was over and I had her in a dip. There was clapping from the other people on the room. We were both red in the face from dancing. We both smiled. I leaned in and gave her a kiss. She blushed and so did I. I pulled her up to her feet.

"I got you something," I said. Her eyes lit up.

"Really!? What is it!?" She asked excitedly. I pulled out a box from my pocket and handed it to her. She opened it. Inside was a necklace with a crown and a camera pendant on it. She smiled widely.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She said giving me a big hug. I smiled and rubbed the top of her head.

"No problem," I said. We stopped hugging and I walked off as she began to sing with Ashlie. I chuckled as I walked away. She's unique. 

I walked over to the food table. I found SGC There. I walked over smiling. He smiled at me then took a bite of his cake. I chuckled as I stood in front of him.

"Hey Nick," I said smiling.

"Hey Cory!" He smiled.

"What's up?"

"Nothing much! Just eating some food,"

"Hm fun,"

"You?"

"Oh just hunting you and Uni down,"

"Oh, why?"

"Well I decided to get everyone a present,"

"Oh cool,"

"Here" I said handing him a box. He quickly opened it. It was a picture of them together. SGC smiled.

"Thanks Cory!" He said giving me a hug like the girls did.

"You're welcome Nick," I replied hugging him back. We broke the hug. 

"Hmf" SGC made that noise when he shoved the rest of his cake in his face. I chuckled. He's something special. I waved bye and he blew me a kiss. I smiled and went off to look for Uni. 

I ended up wandering into a room of peoplejust talking and playing games. I then saw Uni just get out in a game. He sighed.

"Are you serious!?" He yelled in his British accent. He slammed his fists on the table then stomped off. I laughed. I should go follow him. I walked over to where I saw him stomp off. I found him sitting in the corner drinking some pop. I walked over and sat beside him.

"Hey Cory," he said smiling at me.

"Hey Uni,"

"How has your night been?"

"Good, You?"

"Meh, I just lost a game,"

"I saw"

"Heh yeah,"

"Well I got you something,"

"Hm," he said looking at me. I smiled. I hope he likes it. I handed him the last box I had left. He opened it. Inside was a pack of pretty nice pencils. He smiled and gave me a hug.

"Thanks Cory," he said. I hugged him back.

"No problem Uni," I replied. He gave me a kiss on the forehead. I grinned. We broke the hug. I checked the time on my phone. I almost dropped it when I saw the time.

"Everyone it's almost midnight!" I yelled. I grabbed Uni's hand and rushed upstairs and into the living room. Almost everyone was in there. I was in the middle of Uni, Shelby, Bri, and SGC. Soon the ball drop count down started. Everyone began to count down with it.

"Happy new year!" Everyone yelled. All of a sudden Uni, Bri, Shelby, and SGC kissed my cheeks. Uni and Bri on one side. Shelby and SGC on the other. I blushed and smiled.

Happy new year's everyone! Hope you like this chapter. I was in a rush to get it done. But I got it done. Sorry if it isn't too good though. Anyway, how is everyone doing? And what are you doing for new year? Or what is your New Years resolution? I thought I'd try to interact with you guys more next year. So I might as well start now.
