Chapter 27

-At the cosplay event-

Uni's p.o.v

We were all in our costumes already. We're just waiting a bit until we leave. I then got an idea. At this cosplay event we could each have a date with Cory. Then it's fair. I really don't care if things are fair but we should all at least get a date with Cory during this event. I already know SGC likes him and I'm pretty sure Shelby does too. Bri and Cory used to date but I'm not sure if she still likes him. I'm pretty sure that's all of us. I walked over to Bri.

"Hey Bri," I said.

"Hi Uni," she smiled at me.

"I have a question,"

"Ask away,"

"Do you like Cory?" I asked.

"Umm what?" She said blushing.

"So yes," I said. she sighed.

"I didn't say that," she said. 

"I mean you invited Cory to do hula lessons with you so I'm going to assume..." i said. She groaned in response.

"Fine, I like him," she said crossing her arms.

"Why do you even care?" She asked trying not to sound rude.

"Just for something, anyway come on," I said. I grabbed her arm and walked over to Shelby.

"Hey Shelby!" I greeted.

"Hey Uni," Shelby said.

"Come with me," I said.

"Wha-" before she finished I grabbed her arm and pulled them over to SGC.

"Hi Uni," he said.

"Hey Nick,"

"Why do you have Shelby and Bri?" He said raising one of his eyebrows in confusion.

"Follow me," I said.

"But you didn't answer my que-"

"I'll answer your question when you follow me," I said. 

"Okay," he said. I walked away from the others. We got to a more private area.

"So why are we here? This is kinda sketchy Uni," Shelby asked.

"I have an idea,"

"Oh no," SGC said. I just looked at him with a face that said 'seriously'. He coughed then apologized.

"What's your idea?" Bri asked nicely.

"My idea is that at the event we each get to go on a date with Cory, and none of us can interfere with the date. And if we do we have to not talk to Cory for a day," I say.

"Sounds interesting," Shelby said.

"Shouldn't we get Cory's consent first?" Bri asked.

"Well If he doesn't say yes to you then it's not your fault. But you still don't get to sabotage." I respond.

"Fine, I'm in," SGC said.

"Me too," Shelby said. We all looked at Bri.

"Sure, fine, I'll do it." She said.

"Now, let's get the dates scheduled,"

"Who's going first?" Sgc asked.

"I'll go first!" Bri said.

"Second?" I asked.

"Me!" Sgc said.

"Then me!" Shelby said her voice extremely high pitched. All of us covered our ears. She apologized quickly.

"Then last is Uni," Bri said. I nodded.

"How long do we each get to spend with him?" Shelay asked.

"One hour or two hours,what ever on you choose."

"I think two hours is good." SGC said.

"I also think two hours is good," Bri said.

"Same," Shelby said.

"Then it's settled we each spend two hours with Cory. Well it was nice talking to you guys,bye, see you guys later," I said smiling. I went back to where the others were. I went over to Ashlie.

"Ashlie, I know you sometimes mess with other dates Cory has-" she cut me off.

"What!? I would never!" She exclaimed. I sighed and gave her a 'stop lying' look. She kept nervously laughing.

"I know you do it Ashlie, so today Cory will probably be going on dates with Bri,Shelby,SGC,and me. And we all agreed to no sabotage so do not interfere with anyone's date with Cory, got it?"

"But-"

"Got it?"

"Yes," she said. I smiled at her.

"Let's Go guys!" Tommy yelled. I didn't even realize they all left except for Ashlie and I. We quickly followed after them. On our way I told Tommy and Nick not to interfere with the dates too. I talked to Dawn and Jon for a bit too. We basically just talked about what we think will be at the event. I heard there were lots of cool things to do.

 As we walked there I looked at the others costumes. They were so accurate. They actually looked very similar to the characters outfits. But of course it took us so long to get the right make up look. And it took a while for Ashlie and a few others to get their hair right, so it looked like the characters hairstyle. 

-when they got to the event-

There are so many people here. So many cool cosplays. I think our cosplay came out well. There were a few more people dressed as characters from DBD. There was another guy dressed as the trapper. I went over and asked for a picture. He nodded and I got Ashlie to take a picture. The guy introduced himself. He seemed nice. His costume was very cool looking too. I asked him a few questions about the event and he was very helpful. 

"Where's the Umm best place for a....date?" I whispered date.

"Depends on the person," he said.

"They Like video games, in fact they play video games as a job. They also like umm" how come I can't think of anything else Cory likes. I'm his best friend I should know this.

"He likes blue," I said. The guy laughed.

"Maybe you could bring him to the video game side of the event."

"Sounds great, thank you so much!" 

"You're welcome," he said back.

"Here's My phone number, see ya," I handed him the paper with my phone number on it and ran back over to Cory and the others. We just kinda stood there taking pictures with people. It was actually pretty fun. All the different costumes. Some were super detailed and their costumes look so cool.

 I wonder what the others will do for their date with Cory. What if one of them takes the idea to show Cory the video game part of the event!? I guess I'll just take him to another part of the event if that happens. What should I do while Cory's on the dates? Ill probably just hang out with Ashlie, Tommy, and Nick. Hope waiting won't be that bad. I wonder what Bri is planning.
