Chapter 11

Shelby's p.o.v

I got up early this morning to make sure I'm looking my best. I can't let Cory senpai think I'm not amazing. After I did my hair and makeup I went to go pick out the perfect outfit. Sadly I couldn't find one good enough. Guess I have to go shopping.

I packed my stuff and went down to the lobby and gave my room key to them. I walked out and got in the car I rented. I drove to the mall and went straight to my favourite store. It has so many beautiful outfits. I looked around and found a great outfit I could wear. It was a aqua blue dress that went to my knees with white flowers on the skirt part. I walked over to the cashier and payed for the dress. After I left the store I went to the bathroom to put on the dress. When I was finally done putting it on I got out of the bathroom and went out to the car.

-30 minutes later-

I finally got to Cory senpai's house. I parked and walked up to the front door. I gently knocked on the door but I made sure it was loud enough for them to hear me. A few seconds after Cory senpai answered the door.

"Hey Shelby!"Cory senpai said smiling at me.

"Hi Cory!"I smiled back.

"Come in,I'll show you to your room."he said moving out of the way to let me in.

"Do you need me to take one of your bags?"

"No thank you,I'm fine."I said.

"Well if you say so,just follow me this way." Cory senpai said as he walked towards the stairs. I followed him up the stairs to a hall,the same hall I had been in before. Except this time he led me to a different bedroom.

"So you know Sheby,Uni and Nick are staying here too."wait what!? Nick is still part of my competition! Well looks like I have to try harder to get Nick out of the picture. But I can think about that later. I heard that there was a contest going on where you could win a vacation to a really cool beach resort and you can bring 10 people counting yourself. 

All you have to do to win is enter a art piece and a note explaining why you entered. After all the whole competition is held by an art school. Maybe I could ask Uni. I know he is one of my rivals but I need to win this competition for Cory. So I can have a romantic scene like in the movies. It's worth the risk. I walked out of my room into the hall. I looked at the other 3 doors,I remember which one Uni was in unless he moved to a different room. I walked up to the door that I think leads into Uni's room and knocked. The door opened and uni peeked out.

"Oh hey shebly!"uni said smiling.

"Hey uni,I have a favour to ask you."I said.

"Uh sure,what is it?"

"Well you see there's this contest going on where you can win a very cool vacation and I wanted to bring our group there for fun,and to win you have to enter an art piece to see if you win." I explained.

"So,you want me to make an art piece for you?"

"Yes please!"

"Fine but you have to help."

"How can I help?"

"You can give me the idea for the piece and whatever else there is to do other than the piece itself."

"Okay deal,pleaser doing business with you Uni."

"You too Shelby."he said fixing his glasses. I turned as he closed the door and I went to my room. Now to think about what to do for the piece. Hmmm....I GOT IT! The piece should be our group at the resort. I texted Uni the idea and started working on the letter to go with it saying why I entered. So if we did win the people that would go would be Cory,Uni,Nick,Tommy,Ashlie,other Nick,Dawn,and me. But that's only 8 people...I guess the group could discuss the 2 other people coming with us. Now I really hope we win,it'd be a great vacation for us all.

-The next morning-

As soon as I woke up I got dressed and did my hair and makeup. Then I went straight to Uni's room. I knocked on the door.

"Come in."said Uni through the door. I opened the door and looked at his desk where he was sitting.

"Uni,did you finish the art piece?"

"Yeah,I even printed it out for you."

"Really? Thanks!"

"Yeah whatever."

"Gotta go enter it,bye!"I said grabbing the art and walking out the door closing it. I went to my room and grabbed the note and then I ran downstairs. I put my shoes on then went to the car and drove to the mall. 

-10 minutes later-

When I got there I took the stuff out of the backseat and closed the door. I walked into the mall and to the place where they were holding the competition at. When I got there I handed the guy running it the picture and note and said bye. Before I left the mall I decided to get some breakfast. 

-30 minutes later-

I got out of my car and went up to my room. Before I entered Uni stopped me.

"So,how long do we have to wait?"

"I think a week or so."

"Thanks by the way,it means a lot that you actually asked for my help."

"You're welcome,and plus you're like one of the only artists I know that would help me win."

"Really?"

"Probably,I mean I didn't ask anyone else."

"Yeah,uh sorry gotta go uh bye."he said going back into his room. I really hope we win.
