Sorry for my long absence but writers block is killing me here, I just want to make sure what I write is good and makes sense to the story. Hopefully it's worth the wait.

"Is that the asshole who did this to you? When are you gonna stop being in these relationships? What the hell Harry? Why would you let him be here? He should be in jail!" Gemma is practically shouting, furious, because she knows Harry has a tendency to give people a second chance and sometimes a third when they show signs of violence. Harry cries because this is not how he wanted their first meeting to go, he wanted her to see the sweet loving boyfriend he has now. He finally speaks up, his voice meek and sad.
"It wasn't him, Gem. He didn't do this." She eyes him skeptically but doesn't speak.
"That's Louis, I love him and he loves me and treats me so well. He's the best thing that ever happened to me and I expect you to apologize when he returns." She's literally shocked that Harry is being so strong and demanding about this, he usually would just make up a lie about breaking up so she would get off his back.
After the long explanation of what happened and who did it Gemma was in tears.
"Oh my god Harry, you don't deserve this. You are the sweetest person I know and if I get my hands on that man I will kill him." Harry sighs knowing this would be her reaction.
"He's in jail, the police will handle it." He paused for a moment. "You know I wouldn't have even told you about this. It's not something I want you to be troubled about. You have your own life to deal with and."
She gapes at him.
"Are you serious right now? First of all you are a huge part of my life, therefore I need to know these things. I care about you baby brother and even though I'm not close enough to see you everyday, I still feel it's my job to protect you. Second of all I don't ever want to see you hurt ever, but that doesn't mean you can't tell me things. We need to be there for each other for the good times and bad." Of course he was crying again.
"You know, I haven't cried this much in a long time and I'm a cryer." Harry said with a smile. She ran her fingers through his hair and smiling through tears herself.
"So tell me about this boyfriend of yours?"
Harry didn't go into detail about their relationship but he did say they met in a club and then gushed on for forty five minutes about how sweet Louis is.
After Harry started yawning Gem left so he could nap, she went to get a hotel lined up for the next few days.
When she got back later she stood peeking in the little window on the door to Harry's room and what she saw actually made her cry. Louis had set up Harry's room as much like home as he could, some fluffy pillows and blankets and beautiful flowers. She watched him gaze at her brother while holding his hand and reach over every now and then to kiss his lips sweetly. She only decided to go in when he started shaking and crying, she wanted to offer some comfort to the man who loves her brother so much.
"Hey." She says quietly, startling Louis in the process. He started to apologize and get up.
"No, stay. I'm sorry." She said looking down.
"I was a complete bitch and I know now that you are the best thing for him." He started to protest slightly, wanting to tell her he didn't hold a grudge or anything but she kept going.
"I saw the love in his eyes when he talked about you, and boy did they shine. You. I missed it at first because I was too blinded by anger but you give yourself away as soon as you look at him. It's a beautiful thing and I'm happy that you make him happy so I just want you to know I'm sorry." Louis got up and embraced Gemma, they held each other for a while, both still so upset over what happened to Harry. They didn't know that he had heard most of their exchange and that he, despite what he went through,couldn't be happier.
