Chapter 8: The arrival
Friday, April 12 2013, 8:30 a.m.
I step out of the car and everything went quiet. So what if it is my new school, I've been to many others but this one seems different. Like there is only one space for popularity.
I smile at my mum, say good bye and walk out with my brother. I look at him for help, he tells me to just keep walking.
"How can I keep walking with twenty thousand eyes on me?" I whisper to him, he laughs and directs me to the Headmistress' office. "It's around that corner there, I'll catch up with you later Scarlet." I nod.
I walk down the hallway and see people whispering as I pass by, these four girls catch my eye though. One of them has the same colour hair as I used to have; mine was a redder though. She looks so pretty. 'I wonder if she is like me,' I think to myself
"Oi!" I hear someone shout; I turn around and end up knocking into this, most amazing, gorgeous guy I've ever seen. "I'm sorry," he tells me. I can't believe he touched me; no one should touch me, ever! I look into his eyes, they're amazing. Ivy green with tints of chestnut brown.
"It's fine, where you shouting me?" I reply to him, he nods and hands me a piece of paper, I open it and see it's my timetable. "Thanks, how did you-"
"You dropped it." He smiles
I smile back and thank him for it and walk off into the Headmistress' office.
