Chapter 29: Burning of the Fire with Enya

“Well done Star, now we will begin.” Mother tells me we are going to begin my training, how exciting! “Here is your first person you will fight off with your Fire Power, you are now known as –”
I cut Mother off “I’m now known as Enya, bring the opponent to me Mother.” I say stepping forward into the centre of a huge circle. I gasp at my opponent, I recognise him so much. It’s… It’s Jacob! What is he doing here?!
“Mother, why have you sent a Vampire here?” I ask with worried eyes
She replies, “He’s the one that triggered your tattoos; you must fight him to earn your Fire for your tattoos Enya, it will stop the need to fight!”
I nod and focus on fighting, no time for love now. He won’t care about any of this anyway; he’s just a Vampire who doesn’t care. Wait what am I saying, he does care, I just can’t think about that right now. I need to focus on fighting with Fire! Don’t think, just do! Is all I repeat inside my head.
I close my eyes, block out all sound apart from inside the circle, I also switch off my other Elements, all I have is Fire now, nothing else. Jacob enters the circle. I open my eyes and they are glowing red with orange flames inside them.
I snap my fingers and the circle lights up with fire, as do my palms. I have fire balls in my palms and I’m getting ready to throw them at him. I think back to earlier when he found out I was a Rare Blood when I was so angry at him. I curl my fists into balls and my whole hand is on fire. I uncurl them and place them together. I start to pull them apart and form a huge fire ball between my hands.
I throw it at Jacob…
