Chapter 15: The truth hurts

He turns around and spits at me, "I know what you are, and you should know what I am too, you need to stay away from me!" He pauses, "I'm a Vampire!"
I look at him in shock. My eyes are filling up, puddling tears fall to the ground. I turn and run away from him. I stop and turn back, he looks at me with hurt and despair, "I ne-ver w-ant you ne-ar me a-gain." I say while whimpering, tears escaping, flooding the floor. "Scarlet, please, don't be like that." Jacob says, I ignore him and run down the stairs with my hands over my eyes crying silently.
I run into the girl's bathroom, dry my eyes and re-apply my make-up just like it was this morning. I've got so many thoughts running through my mind about me and Jake.
My blood feels like it's boiling, but I also feel unprotected and insecure. My emotions are everywhere, I feel like I want to cry again but on the other hand I feel like ripping his heart out. If he tells anyone that he's met a Rare Blood this will put me in great danger and I could die. I need to tell someone about this, more importantly I need to know if Jake is really a Vampire.
