Chapter 49: Shadows of the Air and Wind with Aura

Scarlet’s P.O.V
“Mother, I want to train!”
Mother states, “Welcome back my child, now you have already done two of the six, you will be now doing the third Element which is Wind. Do you remember your name young one?”
“Yes mother it’s Aura.” I hear mother laugh a little and she begins my training. I close my eyes and when I re-open them it’s dark. I’m lurking in the shadows of the night waiting for my prey, just like a Vampire does.
I can feel, I am changing into something different, I close my eyes and imagine what I want to look like while doing my training. A white flowing dress that goes down to my knees and long white sandals curling straps around my legs.
I focus on the sounds around me and hear little footsteps tiptoeing around. It’s coming from my left so I snap my fingers and make little spirals of wind in my hands and throw it to my left.
I hear an ‘ugh’ and a thump to the floor. I have no idea who it is all I know it sounded like a boy. My eyes widen as I hear someone coming towards me really fast, my heart beats quickly. I am panicking. Who is it, and who are you?
I place my hands out in front of my and think of a wind shield, an odd thing to think of but it worked, the person smashed themself right into it. I start laughing so hard that when I opened my eyes again I could see what I was doing and I could see that the person was Zak.
“I thought I told you to stay away from me!” I yelled and let out a huge billow of wind. It smacked him right in the tummy and he flew backwards, then smashed right into the wall that surrounded us.
I start to get little hurricanes in my palms and fling them towards Zak, they grow bigger and bigger. Then I move my hands upwards, the hurricanes pick up Zak and spin him constantly, I clench my fists, move my right hand to the left across my chest and all I see is Zak go flying across the room. I just laugh.
“Aura that’s enough now!” Mother yells out. I go back to being all calm and ask her what I’d done wrong
“You haven’t done anything wrong dear, it’s just we don’t want you killing the person. Who is this Zak anyway? Another lover I assume?” Mother laughs
I explain to mother about my dreams and what happened when he came to visit me after I woke up, I also explain to her about how we Zinged and that I don’t know how to stop it. “I love Zak, but I just don’t want to get hurt.” I confess
Mother responds, “Oh, my child, the only way to undo a Zing is if you part for a very long time, other than that there is no possible way to break it, no matter how much you want to hurt this person it just will not happen, you love him too much to hurt him a lot, I could see it in your eyes that you were angry but you love him dear, don’t be angry at him, he was only showing you the truth, and yes I know about your dreams.”
“Oh okay Mother, I think I’ve had enough tonight anyway. See you soon, hopefully.”
“Goodbye Scarlet, my greatest gift.” Mother says before I leave.
