Chapter 33: Om noma nom and sleep!

I wake up and stretch my arms up in the air, then yawn. I pull back my covers and get up out of bed, I wander downstairs and walk over to my mum and hug her.
“I’m very proud of you Scarlet.” My mum said. I look at her with confusion…
“What do you mean?” I ask
“When you were fighting with that boy in your training, Angel peeped in and saw what you done and we are both very proud of you.” My mum smile which made me have a huge grin on my face. “The food is in the kitchen sweetie, help yourself.” My mum tells me.
I walk into the kitchen and see something go past the window, must have been a bird or something I think to myself. I open the fridge and take out a block cheddar cheese. Next I get the chopping board and the cheese knife from the draw and place them on the counter.
I get two slices of bread out of the breadbin and place them on the unit, then go towards the cupboard, pull out the toasty machine place that on the unit, plug it in and switch it on putting one slice of bread inside it.
I place the cheese on the chopping board and cut six slices of cheese and place them on the slice of bread and place the other over the top then shut the toasty machine and wait for it to cook.
It takes about ten minutes to cook, so once it’s done I will cut it and wait for it too cool down until ready for eating. I cut into it and wait for it to cool down, once it’s cool I dig into my cheese toasty.
Delicious!
I finish my food, put my plate in the dishwasher, walk out, go upstairs into the bathroom and brush my teeth. I shout downstairs, “Goodnight mum, goodnight Ange, I’m off to bed now!” I hear them shout goodnight up to me. I go to into my room, get into my comfy bed and drift back off to sleep.
