Camila glanced over at her wife as she saw her tossing her backpack into the back seat of the car. It was strange being a teacher at the same school her wife was attending, but administration had no problem with it. Even if Lauren needed the art class, she wouldn't have been in the same class that Camila had taught so there was no problem.

Lauren had been in the library finishing her reading for her class the next day when she got a text from her wife saying she was ready to go. She walked out and met Camila by the car. When the doors were unlocked she threw her backpack in the backseat and climbed in the car. 

Once her wife got into the car, Camila leaned over to kiss her softly. "So how was your day?" Camila asked as she started up the engine and backed out of the parking space to head toward her parent's house so they could pick up Taylor.

Lauren looked over at her wife and smiled before leaning in to return her kiss. "Mm. My day was good." She said before putting on her seatbelt. She reached across to hold hands with Camila. "I missed you, though." She said softly."

Camila laced her fingers with Lauren's as she moved with the traffic to get out of the school. "It was only about two hours baby." She smiled to her but nodded anyway.

Lauren squeezed her wife's hand as they started to drive out of the school parking lot. "I know, but I like being with you." She said softly. Lauren loved spending time with her wife and even though they had lunch together, she still wanted to spend more time with her. "How was your day?

"My day was good. We're still working through the first chapter so there's no homework yet I have to worry about grading yet so we can have a nice, peaceful evening." Camila glanced at her at a red light. "Unless you have homework?" The younger woman questioned with a smirk. She was still getting used to being a teacher to Lauren being a student.

Lauren listened to Camila tell her how her day was. "A peaceful evening sounds wonderful." She said as she leaned back in the seat and watched the traffic go by. Lauren looked at Camila once they got to a red light, smiling as they looked at one another. She leaned across and quickly kissed her lips. "I finished it all in the library." She said simply. "What's with the smirk?"

Camila chuckled some. "It feels weird that I'm a teacher, but I'm asking you if you have homework because you're a student." She shrugged some before returning her little kiss. Camila pulled through the light when it changed and turned down the second side street to get to her parent's house.

Lauren rolled her eyes. Camila could constantly mention the professor student thing, but still wouldn't let Lauren capitalize on her fantasy of doing it in Camila's office. She watched as her wife turned down the street to her parents house. It felt weird for Lauren to not be driving...she was usually the one who drove more often than not. 

"The question is, did you really finish it all?" She glanced at her after pulling into the driveway beside her dad's truck. Camila cut the engine off and climbed out of the car to go inside, leaving everything but her keys in the SUV.

Lauren looked at her wife and nodded. "The stuff for tomorrow I finished. Why do you ask?" She said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, taking Camila's hand before heading up the steps to the front door.

Camila just glanced to her wife and raised her eyebrows. "You'll find out later." She leaned in to kiss her jaw softly before reaching out to open up the front door.

Lauren looked at her wife and quirked her eyebrow. "Whatever you say." She chuckled softly. 

"Dad?" Camila called out before hearing Taylor laughing in the kitchen. She closed the front door behind them and slipping off her shoes out of habit. She then took Lauren's hand to lead her into the kitchen where she saw her dad playing airplane with Taylor's spoon as he fed him. "He'll eat just about anything when you do that with him." She chuckled some.
