You wouldn't think a coffee date would be something I enjoyed so much.
But I did.
It allowed me to stare at Felix without any interruptions at all.
Cheesy? Yes. But anyone would do it if they had the chance.
He had the darkest and longest lashes I've ever seen on anyone naturally and his eyes always had a gleam to them.
And the simple way he wrapped his fingers around the coffee cup was elegant too. His hands looked fragile and dainty.
And let's not forget about his skin. Not only was he caramel skin toned, but he also had freckles that kissed his skin. Even if freckles were counted as a flaw on the skin, it just made him look even more perfect.
"Owen?" He spoke up.
Don't get me started on the way he spoke.
His voice was so warm and kind, even if was mad there was always something soothing about it.
"Owen!"
"Oh sorry," I laughed.
"You were zoning out for a while. You okay?" He tilted his head.
"Oh. Yeah of course I am!" I gave him a grin and he returned one back.
"So I was actually thinking of asking his producer to give me a shot. I love writing songs and all but I want to perform them too."
"Who's producer?"
"Duke's. We just went over this Owen. I'm gonna ask Duke's producer to give me a shot. Geesh," he rolled his eyes.
"Oh god I'm sorry Felix."
"It's fine it's fine." he shrugged. "By the way...isn't your birthday coming up?"
"Oh yeah...kinda forgot about that."
"You're such a blonde!"
"Excuse you?! The correct term is airhead."
"Except you're an airhead with blonde hair so calling you a blonde works out."
"I-"
"Yes?"
"You suck."
"But don't swallow," he snorted.
"Jesus!"
"Is there anything you want for your birthday?"
"Hmm..."
"Don't say some cheesy shit like 'all I want is you for my birthday' because that's gross and I won't take it as an answer!"
"All I want is you," I said in a mocking voice.
"No seriously!"
"Sorry sorry..um...I'll need to think about it if that's okay. Nothing particular comes to mind at the moment. I'm just really hoping for a job around here as soon as I get my bachelors."
"Damn, you have so many milestones ahead of you. You can legally drink and you'll be graduating! I feel like a lump of failure now."
"Felix you're literally a successful author. Even if you didn't write anymore, the money you've made already would carry you to retirement."
"Rude."
I felt bad that he mentioned my birthday. I honestly didn't want him getting anything for me mainly because I didn't even know when his birthday was. Has it already passed? No. Kamille would've at least mentioned it once. Maybe it wasn't too late!
