Chapter 17

"Um bitch tell me how I look in these heels!" I winked.

"Oh god you're so drunk," Felix laughed and shook his head.

"I am not drunk Felix! We just never have any fun! Plus I look fly as hell in these heels!"

I felt people glance down the aisle Felix and I were in when they walked past, but for some reason I wasn't ashamed of acting as gay as humanly possible.

I didn't care if I was labeled gay at all.

I mean, how is that even a bad label in the first place?

"Felix, you should try some on," I handed him hot pink heels.

"No way in hell," he looked at the shoes in disgust. "Those shoes are made by Satan."

"Oh come on Felix baby you can look like a cute princess!"

"And why would I want to look like one?" He rolled his eyes. "I'll wear these though." He picked out a rainbow pair of flats.

"Awe boring. I like the color though."

"Exactly."

"Why not heals though?"

"Owen I am gay. I am not a queen."

"Queen?"

"Uh! You're a queen Owen! You're into heals and finger nail polish. And I totally hate both of those."

"But you'd look so pretty in makeup and heels."

"I look enough like a woman as it is, I don't need help looking any more like one."

"But you don't look like-"

"Shush!" Felix suddenly grabbed me and dragged me to the next aisle, holding his hand over my mouth.

"What is it?"

"A stalker."

Huh?

I didn't notice anyone particular.

But I guess it's not unexpected.

After all, Felix just made his début as a singer and people already were crazy over him.

It was like he was some sort of siren.

He hypnotized anyone who heard him sing, and everyone instantly would gain a major celebrity crush on him.

I was proud of him though. No matter how many creepy people were now after him.

He always seemed to enjoy writing books and writing songs but performing was what he was truly meant to do.

It was clear how much more confident he became when he was finally to do what he actually always wanted to do.

"Boy or girl this time?" I asked.

"Girl."

"Let's just fight her."

"No that's rude Owen."

"Why we hiding though? She can't do anything to us?"

He let out a long sigh.

I'm stupid sorry.

"I don't want your name out there. I think it's better if you don't become famous."

"Oh true."

He's right.

Being famous would be scary.

I'd rather die then be famous.

"Hm, I swore I saw him," a girl's voice said from the next aisle.

"You're so pathetic Izzy, Geesh. Such an attention seeker."

"Guys! I wasn't lying! I swear!"

I looked at Felix and realized he had that look.

Don't do it Felix.

But it was clear he was gonna do it.

Those puppy dog eyes.

He obviously felt bad for the girl and he was gonna go show himself.

"Okay Owen, for your own sake. Stay here and pretend to look at..." Felix looked around at the aisle to see what it was full of. "Baby food."

"Sure sure. Because you're my baby and I'm shopping for you."

"That's enough of that," Felix let go of me and walked away.

Rude kid.

What happened to the kind and caring Felix I knew? The sweet and innocent?

He acted like that to friends and strangers but if you were his lover, he was a bully!

I peaked through the aisle to see Felix talking to the girl.

"Oh my god I told you guys! It's Felix Michaelson!"

"Shush, keep it down. I don't want a crowd."

"It really is him," another girl said in awe. "He's so short. And adorable!"

Excuse you missy. That man is gay. Gay for me!

"Your voice is so lovely! I'm so addicted to it! I especially love your cover of Toothbrush! You sounded so hot!"

He flashed them a beautiful smile.

Why doesn't he smile at me like that anymore?

Am I not a good enough boyfriend?

Maybe that's why he always acts mad...

"Could we please have your autograph?" they squeaked.

Felix signed a shoe, a shirt and a face and the girls took off.

He certainly knows how to handle fans for sure.

As soon as he got in sight of me, that smile disappeared from his face and he grabbed my wrist and we walked around the rest of the store.

"I need some more shampoo I think," he said.

"Do. famous people usually buy shampoo from Wal-Mart?"

"Celebrities that know that the money won't just keep coming do."

"Oh-"

I glanced at the shelf and saw a shampoo bottle that had a woman on it with long and shiny hair.

Time to be stupid!

"Hey Felix, this girl is trying to have hair that's as amazing as yours, but she's failing."

That wasn't even smooth Owen.

That was the lamest joke of the day.

I was scared to look at his facial expression, but I looked anyways.

Is that...is he laughing?

"Oh my gosh Owen! You're so entertaining!" He busted out laughing.

That's the biggest smile he's given me in such a long time.

I'm so happy!

"Well I'm here for your entertainment!"

"Adam Lambert," he gasped. "I can't believe you're right here in front of me! I'm a huge fan!"

"It is I. Greetings Mr Felix," I said in a robot voice.

"Clearly you have no idea who Adam Lambert is," he snorted.

He went back to staring at shampoos and I went back to staring at...well I stared at Felix.

Note from author: uh! Sorry this chapter was super short! Also sorry these last couple chapters were just chill and without drama but I mean...let Felix and Owen have some fun once in a while before their life becomes messy again. *gasp* wait did I just spoil the next chapter?! (;
