"No, Owen. Please don't do anything irrational," Felix panicked.
"It's not irrational," I continued to walk down the street.
"Yes it is! I can't have you getting hurt!"
"I won't get hurt," I deadpanned.
"How can you guarantee that?!"
"Wyatt was my sidekick for a reason. I'm smarter than him. I'll find a way to kill him without either of us getting hurt."
"See this is exactly why I shouldn't have told you! Owen I can't have you doing this! It isn't you! You're a peaceful guy! You're loving and just normal! Please forget about it!"
No.
I've been a blood thirsty person this whole time.
I was born like this.
And there's nothing I can change about the way I think.
Therapy can shut my thoughts away but it can't take them away permanently.
"Owen stop walking! We need to talk more!"
"No we don't Felix."
"We can just forget about that. We can go buy a house together. I can go record songs for my album and you can become a school teacher. Let's grow old together! Please let us be normal!"
I'm sorry Felix...I'll never live a normal life. Never. I wasn't born to live it.
I turned back to look at him and firmly grabbed his hand and held onto it tightly.
Fuck you Wyatt.
How could you destroy something this precious?
It's your fault Felix hates himself.
It's your fault he tried to kill himself.
It's all your fault asshole.
Felix. I won't let anything hurt you again. Ever. I'll kill Wyatt so you don't have to be afraid anymore.
"Owen, where are we going?"
"Dropping off the food at the house of course," I said.
"Oh," he sighed in relief.
"Then I'm gonna go kill him."
"Wh- Owen please no! You can't just walk right up to him!"
"I can. He's clumsy and will be easy to kill."
"What if he's changed?! What if he's stronger than you now?! What if he's surrounded by people that won't hesitate to shoot you down?!"
Felix you'll never get this game.
You'll never understand the game of death.
You're too innocent.
You're the one good thing left in this world.
