I felt myself wobble back onto my feet and ran as fast as I could downstairs, grabbing my keys and running out the front door.
Someone like him wouldn't take his life.
It's all part of some dramatic story.
It's just a part of some stupid fucking book!
I tried calling his cellphone.
No answer.
You: Felix where are you?
You: Felix I love you.
You: Felix please answer me I'm scared!
You: Felix. You're not a burden to me I promise! Just talk to me!
You: Didn't you tell me I'd be the person you came to for every problem?
You: I'm not mad I swear I won't yell at you if you call me. Please just call.
I called again.
Nothing.
Damn it!
Where the fuck was he?
11:23
That late already?
Where would he be?!
This city was too big!
He'd shoot himself in an ally.
He'd jump off a building.
No.
He'd be somewhere where no one would find him.
A place he was already familiar place.
Think Owen.
What places did he go?
Places that would be empty at this time of night.
Where does he go on walks?
Bridge.
He walks over a bridge on his walks.
A bridge that originally was over a body of water but the waters all dried out.
A bridge that's so high from the ground...he'd...he'd die if he jumped!
I drove even faster, knowing exactly where I was going, knowing exactly what I was going to go get.
I was going to Felix.
My one and only.
11:42.
I quickly ran out of my car, not caring if it was still started.
I don't care if people stole it. I couldn't waste a single second.
I had no time.
I ran as fast as I could down the trail, finding myself stumbling over and over but kept standing somehow the whole time.
Thud!
Fuck Owen! Don't fall right now!
I quickly stood back up and continued to run.
My ankle.
It's throbbing.
I think I scraped my elbows.
But my heart...it's hurting more than the rest of my body.
11:52
I can't run anymore.
My legs feel wobbly and weak.
But I have to!
I have to find Felix!
