"You're not worried?"Nightmare, if that's what we should call him, looked down at me. His wolf-bear hybrid creatures barked and some growled at me.

I gave him a shrug, "Do I look worried?" I rolled my eyes, and gave him my deadliest look that usually knock my opponents off, an evil smile and a narrow of my eyes, "No. I don't." With that I slash at each and every one of his hybrids until I reached him.

I was grateful that Lancelot had chose to fight alongside me to get me to the ugly, uglier and ugliest leader I've ever seen leading a whole troop of hybrids. He shot me his charming smile, and got back to helping me stabbing the hybrids.

I drew my bloodied sword, and raised it to pierce my way to the leader when his overgrown boar scratched me out of the way with his fat claws, which made me fly and land on my butt, and my sword flying out of my hands.

"I am death, and you are nothing!" The animal, boar, or whatever he was riding on had reared on its hind legs and let out an ear-piercing roar.

Then I heard the sound of metal and the rider collapsing into a heap of...how must I describe it? Um...bloody chunk of flesh. And I could see who the savior was. Lancelot!

"Thank you," I said, giving him a smile, as he offered a hand. I took it, and he pulled me up, returning my grin.
"Pleasure's mine, Captain." He chuckled.

I blushed, "Call me by Aurora is fine."

"Whatever you say, Aurora." He gave another twinkling smile.

-

Arthur notices this, and let out a sigh, "Should we get moving? I don't like this place one bit."

That's when I lost it. I took my sword and planted it on top of his collarbone, "Listen, I told you I'm the one in charge here, and I promised that woman I'd patrol the village. And we're not leaving without news for your father."

I was relieved when Arthur shrugged, "Fine." He told me.

We continued the rest of the journey on horseback, but it seems that we have found nothing and are forced to head back to Camelot empty-handed.

And Uther was furious. I jumped a little when he slammed his fist on the armrest of his Throne, "What? You've found nothing!" He nearly shouted.

I shook my head, "Uhm...not exactly, Your Highness. You see..um, we were attacked by these hybrids which is half-wolf and half-bear bred." I gestured to the bloody and dust spots on my cheeks.

"So I shall have this woman executed then?" He asked me.

"No!" I practically shouted. But I regained myself, cleared my throat and answered, "I mean...I want to have a word with her before her uhm..execution."

"I can arrange that. Sir Leon, will you please escort her?" Uther asked and waved a dismissive hand at me.

"Yes, my lord." I turned and walked out of the throne room.

-

"Why do you want to meet her?" Sir Leon asked me as we journeyed to the dungeons, I rolled my eyes, "She's from the village I was born into. I'm not of noble blood like you. I'm just a regular commoner."

"Be careful. I don't want you to get hurt." He remind me over and over again.
I stopped in my tracks, remembering his conversation with Arthur, they had thought no one would hear it. But I did.

I wanted to ask why he cared about me so much, but then we had arrived before the prisoner's cell. It was rotten with filth, I stayed before the bars for protection.

"What is your name? Why are you the only survivor?" I demand of her in a way so she would speak. I heard rattling of chains, as she came into the light, her skin has gone pale and her face has gone ghostly that it almost creeped me out.

"The prophecy foretold..." her voice was also hoarse, and raspy. "They will come back for Uther Pendragon...and turn Camelot with its ferocious flames..into a ruined kingdom!"

I grabbed the bars tightly, feeling anger surge through me, and rattled them with anger, "Enough! You won't turn Camelot into the same place your village is!" I shouted, my voice echoed in the dungeons.

"Your village?" The woman repeated, "Wasn't it once your village too? Don't we live there together?" She wasn't like the woman who hugged me in the Throne Room. Her eyes had no pupils at all and were all white ; like she was plagued.

I drew back in fear, "I am not like who I was before! I've changed! There is nothing you can do!" I told her, I jumped in shock as her eyes glowed yellow and I was flung and hit my back head hard against the wall, I rubbed my head and shouted, "Guards! I want this woman executed now!"

Two guards poked her with their spears, trying to draw her back to her shadows. I let out a cry when she let out an ear-piercing laugh that I will never forget.

-

"Why would you want her executed?" Uther asked.

"She is using magic. I was thrown hard against the wall, her eyes glowed yellow." I explained, remembering the laugh, trying to push it away from my thoughts.

"Very well. Guards! Get the woman out to the courtyard now and burn her to the stake!" Uther ordered. I watched as two knights charged out of the Throne Room.
