"See to it that Arthur follows. We need to get to higher grounds." I told them, "We can sent this root to Camelot, while they are gone. Then, have Uther destroyed."
Morgause looked at me and smirked, "Good plan, Captain."

"Morgana, you will bring this root to Camelot, while I stay here with Aurora." Morgause glanced at the root, and gestured for Morgana to throw it into a cauldron I do not know they seem to have.
We are now hiding in where the knights will be coming in and be trapped. I squinted my eyes as a loud and ear-piercing scream sounded as Morgause planted the root into the cauldron. She shot me another smirk and said, "Only those with magic are able to hear that."

I looked at the cauldron, which now has black ink on it, and then Morgana took out the mandrake root with her magic and wrapped it in cloth, she gave us one final look before saying, "I won't let you down." And leaving.

I glanced at Morgause, "What now?" I asked her.
"Just follow my lead." Morgause narrowed her eyes and snatched my sword from its sheath, looking at it and chanting a spell, "This is meant for Arthur. Stay behind the sword. It will only attack intruders."

-

"The Captain has not returned. I'm worried," Arthur told Merlin as the both of them walked down the granite steps of Camelot that faced the courtyard.
"Where has she gone last night?" Merlin asked.

Arthur sighed, "Father told her to patrol the meadows, look for any signs of danger. She is to be back at dawn. But she isn't."
"That's strange," Merlin mused.
"It is." Arthur agreed.

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the knight on Storm - the knight who managed to escape Morgana and Morgause's peril.
"Where is the Captain?" Arthur asked as Merlin helps the knight dismount.
"She..,she is taken." The knight breathed heavily, "By Morgause. I were to bring a message back to you. 'Hurry and go rescue your Captain if you ever want to see her alive again.'"

"Rest now." Arthur turned to Merlin, "Go, call the others and bring them here. Merlin, you will come with us."
Merlin nodded before scurrying back up the stairs and to the armory.

-

My ears perked up as Morgause let out a hearty laugh, "They have taken the bait. They'll be at us in less than an hour." She informed me.
"Have Morgana arrived in Camelot yet?" I asked her.

Morgause gave me a nod, "Yes, she has planted the mandrake root." Her eyes glowed yellow, "I'll make sure everyone in Camelot will fall."
Is that what i really want? I thought in my head. "No, you won't." I declared.

"No?" She repeated in shock.
"Right. No. I won't do it." I nodded.
"Which side are you on?" She questioned.
"My own." I answered with braveness in my tone just as the doors burst open and Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, Gwaine, Elyan, Percival and Leon came scurrying inside the room.

"Don't harm her," Arthur drew his sword, and the others followed. Except Merlin, he stared at Morgause with eyes of suspicion and then he looked at me.
"That's enough!" Morgause practically roared, her eyes glowed yellow and I was swept. She grabbed me, her arm holding my throat and her other hand holding one blade.

And the next thing I did was the most stupid. Tears came streaming down my cheeks, and light blared in from above, making those teardrops look like falling and shimmering jewels.

"I have come to make a deal in peace." Morgause said.

"Anything. As long as she is unharmed." Arthur told her.

"Tell your father not to execute those like me. Or else, both she and him will pay the price." Morgause sneered.

"I am not my father." Arthur told her, "You know how I despise people being executed. It is not my doing."

"This is a trick. She's playing you, Arthur." Merlin whispers into his ear.

I grabbed her arm which held my throat tight. But only succeeded in her tightening her grasp around me. I let out a grumble. Arthur is making his dumb decisions too long! I thought.

Morgause's eyes glowed yellow again, this time, the blade that she was holding pierced me, then when I saw Lancelot coming to run to me, the blade flew and pierced him square in the chest.

Thanks to Arthur, he flung my enchanted sword at Morgause, which pierced her straight in the chest. She collapsed, so did Lancelot and I.
