I returned to my personal tent, and sheathed my sword beside my hip. I would use it again since I would have to go to the woman's village and patrol.

I jumped a little when Gwen entered. She was as worried as I am. "I am so worried out there. Are you able to patrol the woman's village later...alone?" She asked me.

"Like I said earlier, yes." I answered, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to have Abigail saddle my horse and I'll have to leave now if I'd get there by dawn." I left the tent, but passed by Leon without really noticing him, I just walked down the grass paths and up the granite steps of Camelot.

-

"What happened?" He asked.

"Aurora's going to the village alone. And I'm afraid she wouldn't make it out. Please go with her and make sure she's alright." Gwen answered, teary-eyed.

"You don't have to ask twice."

-

I swung myself on my horse's saddle and tightened my grip on the reins as I kicked my horse to a canter out of the stables. My eyes widened in surprise when I saw Arthur and the five knights outside on their horses' saddles.

I stopped the horse next to Arthur's, and scowled at him, "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Following you. King's orders." Arthur answered.

I took in his chainmail uniform, and his red cape. First of, I didn't tell anyone but the King and the court about my patrol to the woman's village. Secondly, I didn't remember anything about the King saying about Arthur and his knights coming with me...to me.

"Fine. But I'm in charge here." I told him, and kicked my horse into a canter out of Camelot.

-

The horses slowed down as we reached the forest paths. And I am in charge, so I would be leading in the front. It was close to the evening. Around four o'clock. Not that you have any watch or anything. But let's just say...the sun is at its middle.

"Do you even know where this village is?" Arthur let out a chuckle. "It's obvious you don't. I can see it well on your face. You obviously don't know where we're headed."

I grumbled under my breath, "Yes. I do."

"How so?" Gwaine spoke up.

I drew in a sharp breath, "It's where I'm from actually. Before my parents sent me to Camelot. It is always under attack. I wasn't too surprised at that. The woman who informed us of the attack is my friend's maidservant." I explained.

"Your village is always under attack. Why have you come to Camelot to seek refuge?" Arthur scoffed.

I held the reins with both hands tightly. "Well, my parents say that the Prince is a very generous and kind-hearted young man. So they've decided they'd hand me in. But now what they have said is obvious bullshit." I rolled my eyes, "We are just a mile away. We should rest here for the night." I led the group away from the paths and under the shades of trees to keep of bandits as the sun lowered above us and dusk took over.

-

I finished the stew Percival had brought for all of us, and kept feeding the fire. I decided to go for a walk in the dark, and stare into the deep darkness for a while.

I glanced up when Lancelot approached me, and he told me, "You know my village is always attacked by bandits. So I came over to Camelot and seek to fulfill my dream to be a knight."

I let out a sigh, "I know. And you did, huh? You know, it was brave of you to protect me back during the duel. That black knight can really pack a punch."

He chuckled, "I guess I did. You look pretty for a warrior, you know. And it was quite a risk to go alone back to your village without company."

I shrugged, "I'm used to be alone. In my village, I had no one to play with so I practised alone. My father is a blacksmith and...I use the swords he make to practise and made targets out of straws to train myself with." I explained.

"Why don't we make a pact? We stick with each other." Lancelot asked.

"I thought you're with Gwen," I said, but nodded.

"No," he shook his head. "She loves Arthur more than me."

I did my best to smile, but was quite taken back when Lancelot pressed his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushed myself closer to him.

It lasted until I heard footsteps approaching and we've decided that it would be best if we cut it off. We were grasping for breath anyways. I turned to see who it was and Arthur was standing there, looking at us.
"Am..I interrupting something because I think I am..." he rushed through his sentence and stammered a little. "Er..." he cleared his throat, "Captain, Lancelot." And went back to the bonfire.

I shot Lancelot a look and the edge of my lips curved into a small smile, "Shall we see what the Prince wants?" I asked.

He gave me a nod, but smiled.
